diet information needed
Hi I initially visited my doctor in December due to having frequent urination late night and being bloated. I have been told I have stomach inflammation and
food sensitivities to gluten, dairy. My doctor said I have "leaky gut". I am currently follow a gluten free diet that can be really boring and supplements for my stomach. I have dairy on occasion though not very much. I try be restricted as much as possible though it can be a challenge.
I have been dealing with this gluten sensitivity and frequent urination for a long time, about 2 years already. I have a history taking
Antibiotics multiple times and
food sensitivities . The symptoms that effect me the most currently are frequent urination. Almost every night I have to use the bathroom late night and can't go back to bed. This leads me to having insomnia.
Initially I went to a clinic back 2 years ago thinking I had a UTI due to frequent urination. Though tests came back saying I had no UTI. However, my frequent urination has returned multiple times. I noticed my frequent urination comes back especially when I have diet changes. I have gone to a couple urologists that said everything was "normal" although I had symptoms. Last month however I went to a urologist that said I have pelvic prolapse that I never knew about.
I was told there is a possibility I can have interstial cystitis due to I had reoccurring frequent urination and cramps in my bladder. I have an urology appointment in a month to have tests to confirm if I definitely interstial cystitis.
Although I am following a gluten free diet and having supplements, I continue to have bloating and frequent urination late night. I have recently spoke to another doctor to help eliminate my symptoms. They told me my frequent urination late night is caused by blood glucose irregularities. This doctor said to eliminate "starchy vegetables" and I have done that. Plus, to take other supplements to help my stomach. The only challenge going to this doctor is that they charge $200 per session. That's why I am leaving this message on here. Then having to continue to pay all that cash.
My last option is to try a diet to reverse gluten sensitivity then to be on a permanent gluten free diet. I realize I'd have to be on a certain diet if I definitely have intersitial cystitis.
I have read the GAPS diet reverse gluten, dairy sensitivities. Though are there any diets that are helpful to reverse a gluten sensitivity?
I need a meal plan for the GAPS diet or any other diet that's recommended. I was going to have another appointment with this doctor, though I dont have the cash to afford to keep going. I only had 1 appointment to hear some information.
If anybody can help provide information on how to reverse gluten sensitivity, that'd be much appreciated. I realize you need to eliminate certain foods to begin. Though I also need meal ideas and how long that I need to follow the diet.
Thanks
