Autism Speaks is unpopular
Autism Speaks is quite unpopular among many parents and people of the spectrum. They give false hopes for a cure of autism and support the "tragedy" view of autism.
Once I met some parents of autistic children, they said that they indeed felt it like tragedy when they first learnt that their child was autistic, but in order to take the next steps of understanding their kids they would have to stop their grief.
Autism Speaks does in my opinion take things in the wrong direction.
Instead of constantly searching for a treatment or a "cure" and believe in
Conspiracy theories that gives you self-consuming hate you should rather try to understand your kids, there is a community for you.
Let's just say that I didn't watch the video.
And also, the "treatments" of autism is pretty much as functioning as the "treatments" of homosexuality was back in the 1960's, and they all have given good results at least once.
