I hear you, I have tried chicken muscle meats, grain protein powders, liver and it does not make me happy. It makes me all warm inside. But, also makes for a grumpy, sleepy, sneezy, KF. :-(
I was considering trying goat whey protein. But I think that would be very acidic forming too and expensive to up keep.
The protein I am comfortable with is Spirulina. Expensive but worth it! At least IMHO. I think I will just stick with that and increase the dosage. It is my guess that it is on the alkaline forming food list based on how it does not make me feel.
I do not know how much though I will need to take to counter balance the loss of muscle from aging. I have made a personal commitment to 100 Situps a day, a high alkaline forming foods only list extravaganza, strictly no caffiene, no artificial sweeteners for two months. Everything else is up for negotiation. :-D

The best male bodies I have seen are those that race motorcycles for a living. They are very lean but hard as a rock. They do not go to the gym or take steroids to get those six pack abs. Just doing their job.
I imagine since they are in their twenties they can get away with eating about anything they want.
The worst bodies being in my personal opinion are the bull riders.
Must be the most abusive job for the body that I know of.
