I am terribly sorry you have had to go through this horror, although I am sure your maturity, wisdom and inner fortitude was born from the the sorrow you've been forced to live with.

I went to a physician a few weeks ago only for her to tell me that she couldnt smell anything.<----I also got the same comment from doctors and dentists. I'm sure I'm not panaroid coz a lot of people complained about my bb before. I used to think I was cursed. But so far I've heard so many similar cases like us, there must be some reasons behind.
I really want to know why doctors, dentists, those who can help me can never smell my breath. I'm sure they won't cheat me coz my bro complained about my dad's chronic bb but he can never smell mine. The whole thing is so weird!

But did you know that when your symptoms got worse it was a sign of you getting better? It WILL get worse,for sure, but then it GETS BETTER

Mad I know, but its a fact. When you do a cleanse the toxins are being released out of your system so it tends to have a seemingly negative reaction at first and you think its not working, most people (like you) stop at this point. But if you were to continue with the Colon Cleanse regularly and use good probiotics to get optimum intestinal flora you would definately notice a difference.

This is a major problem for many people and it was for me. Ive noticed that most people in forums such as this expect to see results from cleansing and products almost immediately which is NEVER going to happen. It takes TIME simple as that. Sorry to bust your bubble guys but thats the way it is.

Listen, on the cleansing again,kep going, you'll be suprised at the stuff that will come out. lol. gross! and its this toxic stuff that is causing the problem.

Fresh food only! a little bit of fish (no red meat, no processed food etc)

Get a juicer and make a juice every morning (brilliant!) read up on juicing.

Go for a sauna twice a week, (I tend to get hot and sweaty in the sauna first, then go under the cold shower rub my skin with an exfoliator and then go back in the sauna again)

Ive really got alot of my symptoms under control now and its taken TIME but ive got there and you've just got to do the same.
I didnt know any of this stuff till I came across a company that specializes in embarrassing illnesses. Its run by a former sufferer and she knows the life. It was good stuff, they werent trying to say " you can cure your Body Odor and bad breath in 3 days"!! they were honest about it. They put everything you need in a health pack so you get everything at once instead of trying to work out what works. It was all good quality.

By the way people I dont have ANYTHING to do with this company, I aint sellin nothin"

I'm glad I read this thread. The fact that you decided to get personal on this forum makes me feel better to know that there are others out there with almost the same exact problems that I have and that maybe we can find the answers. My story is very similar to yours. I have been experience my odor problems for just over a year. However, even before my odor became continuous I would sometimes smell my fecal odors in certain situations. For instance: sometimes if I was driving long distances, I would start to smell a fecal/rotten food type smell from my rectum. Others would comment how it smelled like food in my car. Other times if I spent too much time on my computer or sitting down playing my guitar I would start smelling myself as well, and would have to take a bath to make it a little better. Sometimes I didn't like to go back to my studio and practice because it made me smell and I had no idea why. All of a sudden about a year ago I started smelling everyday and I have tried several things to include:
Vitamin K
Charcoal Tabs (which worked for a short time)
Oil of oregano
ACV
Enemas
Salt water flush
Gas-X
Primal Defense
Digestive enzymes
Psyllium
I thought the smell was coming from constipation and the psyllium made my bowel movements very bulky, but also seemed to make the smell worse sometimes. Some times I do feel as though I have had an imcomplete bowel movement and also I notice that if I go to the bathroom every single time I feel the smallest urge, then the smell is sometimes not as bad. When I was a kid I hated to go the bathroom and would often hold it in. I feel I may have backed up my system or injured something by holding it in so often. But I do have regular bowel movements, in fact every morning it's like clock work when I get up. Once I drink or eat something I have to go right then. Sometimes my bowel movement is smaller or ribbon shaped and other times it is bulky. I thought once I was suffering from IBS but who knows. Also I mentioned it to my doctor once and he did a visual inspection of my rectum for tears or anything like that and found nothing. In fact like so many others have said, he made it seem like it was all in my head. I know for a fact though it is not. I can smell it in my house and have to do things to hide it such as sprays and candles. I also for the past year have used folded up tissue between my butt cheeks to help stop the smell and it works to some degree. But when I remove the tissue it is almost always has a light brown stain as if I am leaking a bit, but not much at all, just a spot. I have went several days without the odor but it always comes back and sometimes for a couple of days it is so bad I am afraid to be around people.

Our disase is not the easiest to live with and what makes it harder to understnd is it is not recognised and frowned upon as being "all in our heads". You are strong, so am i and also our fellow sufferers and we will continue to grow in our suffering together until a cure or a remedy to reduce the symptoms are found. Now Ive been a sufferer of 20 years and am releived to find this website and finally put a name to this disease of mine. I now know I am not alone. Ive been through many an embarassing situation at home, work with friends but although I have not found a cure I have found many a remedy to relieve the problem short term. THis may work for you it may not but its worth trying. I have been diagnosed with, as well as many other things, a very bad case of small bowel bacterial overgrowth or dysbiosis of the small bowel. So bacteria in my body is a problem. Whether it is the main problem is yet to be seen, however, many of my remedies are for bacterial removal.

My faecal body odour is constant and seems to get worse when I drink or eat something. Smelly wind is also a problem which has reduced significantly with these remedies:-

Butt plug (fanny flug) - (no, im not kinky just desperate) bought over the internet, sex shops, ann summers etc. Works well to reduce odour from rear end. A bit uncomfortable but works for me.

A mixture of grapefruit, lemon, lime and orange. Juiced in a juicer. Drank either before or after food and watch the smell disappear. Although mine reared its head again once i ate or drank something. This has been the most effective and I am still trying this out.

peppermint oil - good for removing bacteria in the bowels and great for IBS. This will reduce the wind and some odour (in my case). Put several drops in a water bottle and drink throughout the day. I did not get any side effects from this. I also added this to water as you skin is great at absorbing things.

grapefruit seed extract - capsules - always take after eating food as I found when you dont you feel like chucking up or feel very nauseaus. I took 6 capsules 3 times a day. Again this removed the odour after about 40 minutes. I would especially take this when going out with friends to control the smell for a while. This is anti-bacterial and anti-fungal and works on many levels if taken long enough. Remeber everyones different. Works well with the butt plug.

chinese herbs - detoxing the liver works wonders to reduce underarm b.o, bowel odour and faecal odour. Find a good chinese reputable chinese herbalist. Also get them to get your bowel moving to empty bowels on a regular basis.

enema - helps to remove any waste sititing in the rectum which doent want to get out on its own.

Not to mention your basics. Drink lots of water and eat fibre. Porridge oats is good.

Try to avoid things that will put a strain on your liver. Alcohol (especially red wine for me), drugs and crappy junk food.

I am still experimenting with a few things. Dont worry things will change for the better for all of us in the long run. Just be patient sweetie and stay strong. Im still working on a cure and seem to get closer to it every day. I will keep in touch. Hope you will too if this works for you all.
