I see it every so often in this forum and I have to stop and wonder... is this person married?

Masturbation is a normal thing whether done as a single person or as a married person. If I asked my significant other to help me "relieve" myself everytime I felt the urge, it wouldn't be long before she would be too sore to go to work.

A loved ones purpose is not to help us deal with some pent up desire whenever we feel the need. Sure its great to have sex with our partner as often as they are willing and prepared for, but as one who knows what it means to have a high sex drive, it isn't always convienant or possible to include them. My partners have always known that I slip out at lunch on a normal basis or steal some alone time in the afternoon or morning to relax by myself. Most didn't care and more importantly, once they understood that it wasn't about porn, I don't read it, look at it, or listen to it, then they also came to realize that it "helped".

It's important to stay attactive. As long as you don't start changing work schedules or play time with the kids so you can be alone and "relieve" yourself, or it doesn't interferre with other normal daily activities, then GO FO IT.

Enjoy yourself and don't feel bad about it.

Ofcourse the flip side of this is that I only feel the need to enjoy myself 3 times a day when I am stressed out. Normal for me is once or twice daily. You might want to take a look at your life and see if there isn't something else going on here.

Thanks for the advice, There are some issues that I have I would like to be more adventurous in bed and my wife isn't doesn't want to or isn't ready to make that step. I still have the urge for these experiences but I'm impatient to wait and let things happen naturally. One thing that I have started is working out on a regular basis to transfer that energy to a different place. I have dicussed my needs with my wife and she wants to accomodate, but two kids and a full time job can be exhausting at times. Which I understand, but if my wife is tired then I take care of myself, although it's a bit excessive - I agree.
