MoreHow many weeks can I use P&B shakes? and how many weeks will I wait to take it again?
I've taken the shake two hours ago, I get a glass of water put 1 tbsp Bentonite then 1 tbsp psyllium husk then shake it for 15 sec then drink. Is it correct? but why am I feeling pain in my right-back side of my belly, near down my rib cage. what organ is in there? and there is also few rumbling noise in my gut. And when can i take the probiotics? how many times daily?

The Bentonite needs to be hydrated overnight - it takes that long for it to absorb water. Mix the Bentonite with water, shake it thoroughly, then leave it to thicken for at least twelve hours. then you can take that mixture, and add the psyllium. The amount you are using sounds fine, and I heard that you can use these shakes every day for a period of time - maybe a week or so.- Re: p*b shakes #32146

Your post about the rope coming out was pretty inspirational! I have not heard of actually having to tug it out with paper before, but I wondered about that subconsciously before and wondered what I would do. I guess now I know! lol.

I have been reading a lot of posts on this forum and the Liver Cleanse forum for the past month or so, learning about internal cleansing. Several posts talk about how to hydrate clay.

If you buy liquid Bentonite then you do not need to hydrate it overnight. Most people I know that bought powdered Bentonite would hydrate the whole lot - mix it up in a bowl with a whisk, slowly adding water...then adding water until it is a soy-milk consistency.
If you have already bought liquid Bentonite simply put 1 tbps of bentonite and 1 tbsp of psyllium husk into a glass, then pour a bit of water in to make a paste - then fill 'er up. I find that cold water is best because the psyllium doesn't bloat up like oatmeal so quickly. Chug that glass back and then chase it with another glass of water.
Remember to take the B&P's on an empty stomach (one hour on either side) and to drink at least 2 litres of WARM water a day (warm water stimulates peristalsis) - to keep you hydrated and the bowels moving.
Back in 2002 I took the B&P's for about 50 days (over 3 months, taking a break here and there)...and noticed that at the beginning I got a few long black ropes (freaky!!) and that at the end I only got strange teeny frond-like things that appeared to be from my small intenstine...(cool!)....According to Ptree (colonic and bowel specialist) one can do B&P's up to six months the first time. Then later just do little maintenance bowel cleanses.

Did you experience a greater sense of wellbeing during and/or after your bowel cleansing? I have been thinking about the symbolism of "releasing old *%#&¤?§*" and thinking that is a wonderful metaphor for letting go of all that no longer serves one, so as to move joyfully forward in life!

Yes yes yes....I felt SO amazing during and after my first big cleanse in the winter of 2002. You know the reason that I found curezone was because of a dream!
I had the dream one month before my birthday (I always have significant dreams on November 3rd - they always give me the theme for the coming year...what I need to work on, be aware of) - and it turned out to be all about doing physical cleansing so that I could have more energy for spiritual connections/pursuits (because my digestion was taking away energy that I could use for higher purposes!) - neat eh? So that led me to curezone and the rest is history!
I felt FANTASTIC while cleansing and afterwards (sooooo pure and clean and essential)....and my cousin, who reads energy, was taken aback when I saw her around Christmas 2002 because my 2nd chakra had been previously blocked...but when I stood up she was like, woah!!, your 2nd chakra is open and fine now! So that was very cool too. I'd say that cleanse 'lasted' me for one year - the next year I felt that familiar tired-eye feeling around 4pm again andn so I cleansed a bit again, but not as intensely - I do need to do another intense one - I usually get the urge in November now (pluto=heal/get the dark stuff out?! ha)...
I'm so glad you're physically cleansing, Hally! because, YES, the symbolism is just as you say! I believe that when you cleanse on the physical level you are cleansing on all levels - just like the alchemists and their repetitive physical experiments slowly transformed their spiritual/essential selves...

It is so encouraging to hear how powerful cleansing has been for you. And what a wonderful dream you had! It is great that you took such good notice of it, and then followed the guidance in it. Since then you must have logged many an hour on curezone!

I started the whole thing off with a 9 day MasterCleanse doing B&P's 3 or 4 times a day...drinking 2 to 3 litres of lemonade a day and 2 to 3 litres of warm water a day....ending with, Ta-Da!, my very first liver flush....wooooo! Amazing amazing amazing. From there I just continued to do the 3 B&P's every day, drink 2 to 3 litres of warm water a day and eat really well. I ate lots of Kichari (link below) and cut out wheat and most dairy, but not all (except a dollop of yogourt on my kichari, I recall) and all red meat (and most meat as I recall too) I just felt soooo damn good! It really did last me for a whole year. Oh yeah, I ate one raw meal a day too (usually a big salad with all the trimmings: lettuce, grated beets, carrots, tomatoes, cukes, avocado, feta cheese and balsamic vinaigrette, sometimes toasted pumpkin seeds) - a la Edgar Cayce 's recommendation.
Anyway - keep on cleansin'! It truly is amazing!!

Thank you so much for providing the Kichari recipe! I am already eating miso soup every day, since my liver cleanse! What a coincidence that you are recommending it! Intuitively, I knew that with all the clearing away of the old going on inside of me, bringing in helpful micro-organisms from miso soup each day would be good for me. In fact, I was craving the miso! It has been tasting wonderful, and feeling so good in my belly.
The kichari is a bit complicated, but I should be able to get the hang of it. In the past I have not been a big fan of brown rice, but ever since that first liver cleanse two or three weeks ago, my appetite has been for very healthy foods.

This is a reply to # 456,010Hally - another thing I like to do that is super-easy is to eat only apples all day long (when you're feeling peckish) - while drinking lots of warm water and doing B&P's (optional, but always good to do!) - this is Edgar Cayce 's recommended 'apple fast' - as he says you should always only eat apples by themselves, far away from any other food - he says the help to release stuff out of the cells...and that if they're eaten with other food they tend to sap the nutrients of the other food they are eaten with! Makes sense to me somehow - it feels that way. Best to eat them on their own.
I've done the apple fast a few times and really like it - I prefer to cut the apples into quarters and cut the core out - funner to eat that way...

This is so neat! - I love apples, and every Fall I eat lots of the sour apples that grow here in the mid-western U.S. Intuitively, I have always felt my body needed them. I had never heard about Edgar Cayce recommending them, and I had never heard of apple fasts. I am really excited to have this new information to back up my intuitive inclinations. I am craving fresh apples as I write, and intend to shop later for the most beautiful, fresh, locally grown Fall apples that I can find!
