Hi,
Im wondering if someone could please help me out here. I am suffering from multiple parasite infections, but for this case I am treating demodex mites.
Im using a topical ivermectin cream on prescription (Soolantra), but I am unable to get a prescription for Oral Ivermectin over here, in Ireland.
Could someone please guide me as to where I can get the Ivermectin paste, what kind to get, and if this is safe for human consumption, and how much should i be taking etc..
Just a little freaked out taking something for horses!
Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This is a reply to # 2,398,408Could you order it from Tractor Supply Company or Valley Vet here in US? The dosage is the same for peopel as for horses, and the thing is manufactured for a horse's dose, some brands are for 1500 lb horses, some 1250 lb horses, so you can figure it out mathmatically. Mainly, I wanted to tell you I got rid of demodex by taking oral ivermectin but it did take awhile, so you should order several tubes. Eventaully I just had them in my eyelashes, and I used permetrin cream there along with the oral iver.

I have no problem ordering the paste from amazon or somewhere. I was just wondering if its as safe as taking the tablet form, and as to what dosage etc.
I dont even think the oral (Stromectol) ivermectin is available in Ireland or the UK on prescription but im going to a doc to find out next week.
Did you take the horse paste yourself or the tablet form?

This is a reply to # 2,398,629I have taken horse paste. It actually tastes rather good. I cannot remember the dosage right off, but if you research here on curezone, you will find it. Search for ICU's protocols, as she states everything really clearly. I also found a you-tube where the guy shows how to measure it.
Actually, however, I was prescribed ivermectin for parasites by an alternative doctor in St. Louis, and he ordered a prescription that was compounded, so my long term usage of iver was not the horse paste. He put me on a huge dose of 12 mg 4Xd. I weigh 150 lbs. But that is a much larger dosage than normally prescribed. He prescribed it for worms, but I also had demodex and it killed them along with the worms.
Sorry, I am not the most helpful, but you can find the info here pretty easy, and it is safe to use the horsepaste.

How long were you taking that dose for, and have they gone away completely?

I've been on the high dose for 5 months with a few breaks during this timeframe. Before that, I took horsepaste off and on for 3 months. There is so much conflicting dosage recommendations online, some say its a single dose and others for longer like yours! Not sure what to do.

This is a reply to # 2,398,851The dose I was prescribed was extremely high I think. It was prescribed and followed by an MD; ivermectin 12 mg. 4Xd + pyrantel pamoate 250 mg. 4Xd + prazuquantel two 315 mg caps. 4Xd. It was prescribed: take three weeks, then rest one week; then take 3 weeks and rest one week; then take 3 weeks. At the end of that I was given a new prescription to continue the ivermectin 12 mg. 4Xd plus added fluconazole 3Xd + itraconazole 3xd for 45 d. After that the I was told to contine the ivermectin 12 mg 4Xd. plus add tinidazole (I don't remember the dose or frequency or length of treatment.) This was all done under a doctor's care for specific diagnosis. Would I recommend that to anyone??? No way, unless you have a doctor following. Now I have finished that, and still with problems, I am like most people here experimenting and trying to find the best solution.
What I would tell you is to start by trying ICU's protocols. If you read thru this link, part-way down the page you will find her suggestions for ivermectin.

I was honest with my other doctors about the doses I had been prescribed, and they about had heart attacks by the high doses prescribed. And it did not solve all my problems. Just sayin' ~ My ID doc put me on course Albenza and Alinia, and I got hits with Albenza, so I am now looking that way.

This is a reply to # 2,398,912So i took 250lbs worth of Ivemectin Horse Paste on Friday night, about 3 hours after taking my heart began racing like crazy, and i was at times struggling to catch my breath, i didnt sleep a wink that night, and it continued on until the following evening.
Im not sure if this was an allergic reaction or if it was a severe die off reaction? I could feel kicks and twitching in arms and head!
I felt so weak and generally just mentally out of it for the guts of 2 days! Not sure if i should continue taking, that was my 2nd dose. I weigh 150lbs.
I may try and get the 3mgs tablets and take one weekly.
Did any of you have this kind of reaction? If its just a die off reaction it looks like i may be heavily infested!
If not it may just be too strong dose/allergy reaction...
Im going to take Neem leaf capsules now for this until i sort out Ivermectin tablets. I hear Neem leaf can detox internal + external parasites/fungus of all kinds so its worth a shot!

This is a reply to # 2,401,455I think you took too high a dose. If you are 150 lbs, take the dose for 150 horse, not 250 horse. I am 150 libs as well (and I realize neither of is a horse ~ ) Fortunately it doesn't stay in the system all that long. I seriously don't know the dosing for demodex, since I took it for something else.

Two important points regarding your post:
1. I reached Google for "demodex lifecycle" and it said about 7-8 days, and the males exit the skin to breed. Shouldn't just using Vaseline alone every night for 10 days basically eliminate them by trapping all the males?
2. You posted your prescriptions, but what was your diagnosis? (Sorry if I missed that info)
3. I thought you cannot feel demodex since they are .1-.2mm in size. Were yours huge? Did anyone ever look at your eye boogers under a microscope? Got pics?
4. How could you tell they were gone?

This is a reply to # 2,401,015Dontpick, obviously people who have them out of control can feel them. That's how they know they have them and why they treat them - they feel them crawling and blooming. They don't need to see them to know they have them if they're out of control. And when they no longer feel them, then they are under control. Good luck with using Vaseline every night for 10 days to trap them.

This is a reply to # 2,398,693In regards to the Alternative Doctor you said prescribed over 12mg 4xday. What type f Alternative Doctor? I.e. holistic etc. you said it killed dermodex in your eyelashes. Did you have any side effects from taking that high f dosage and how how many days did you take. You said a compound so I am confused, a compound cream? I have something in my face, eyes, eyebrows and scalp. I have searched everywhere for anything and I keep coming up with dermodex is the most likely to infect those areas. I have 12mg ills, I have even the worst ver injectable and can buy the horse paste. I took 12mg 1x a day for three days and it didn’t do anything so I am interested in how you felt on 12mg 4 times a day.

Try Twinings Classic Earl Grey Tea. I cannot believe that after suffering for 2 years (total nightmare) this simple cheap
products is killing the parasites quicker than anything I've used (and I've poisoned my body with plenty of stuff). You will feel the benefit within minutes of drinking it - the wretched things will want to get out of your body.
I have been drinking it for 4 days now - 2 cups per day & absolutely loads of stuff continues to fall out of my skin - everywhere - from my head to my feet. I rubbed some on my face & within a minute they were falling off dead.
Try it - you've got nothing to loose & it's very cheap & you will see for yourself that it works. I tried a store brand of Earl Grey Tea which was much cheaper, but it didn't work as well/quick as Twinings - it's the percentage of Bergamot I suppose. I've also been rubbing Bergamot Essential Oil on my feet & tummy. This combination has done more in 4 days than all the herbs, horse paste etc etc etc I've tried in 2 years.
Praise God - I feel there is now hope of clearing this dreadful affliction. Oh my ears have been blocked for several months due to the parasites been in my ears - after 3 days I can now hear clearly as they are dying off.
Apart from rubbing 3 drops of the oil on my feet & tummy I don't apply anything else to my skin. All I do several times per day is go to the bathroom & shake the dead stuff out of my clothing & there are loads. I've also had a few worms (dead) not sure what they are from inside my nose & they've been tumbling in my tummy (I assume they are dying) whatever they are.
I can't thank the Lord enough.
I really hope this will help someone. So simple yet deadly to parasites.

This is a reply to # 2,401,387Thank you so much for the twinings recommendation I just had a cup I only had one teabag of it left :( I had to stop drinking the chamomile tea because that and the turmeric of 4grams a day and not eating because I have no appetite from this whipple's disease put me into a porphyria crisis it was a horrible experience I got the porphyria cutanea tarda rash all over my left hand. Now I'm scared to do turmeric again because it increases thiols which supports porphyrin formation in the body. Sucks because the turmeric was the only thing helping me too. Maybe I'll try and incorporate it again in a smaller does than just one big tspn. Of it. Anyone else experience anything like this or have any advice in regards to my rare situation? Everything I try backfires in my face and creates a new problem it's crazy I tell ya.

I have Hypothyroidism & I have the same problem - always have to be careful what I try, because it can cause another problem
in my body. I am drinking the Earl Grey Tea & praying that all will be well & I don't start having any problems, as I've had
before with Green & Red Bush Teas (before I even had the parasite problems) - use to enjoy, but had to stop drinking them.
It's the Bergamot in the Twinings Earl Grey Tea (the packet that is black & purple) - readily available here in the UK, don't know if you can get that one in U.S.
You asked before about picture of what is dying, sorry I stopped taking spots, because it was depressing, but I did take one of a dead worm that came from my nose a couple of days ago - will try & send you that. In the basin or toilet all I see is a load of very small black, grey & red things.
I tried a protocol last year, that the person guaranteed would work 100%, it didn't for me - not 100%, but I would say it was a life changer, because I was horrified how many died on day 3 & 7 - however, it didn't kill the ones that had burrowed deep into the body. I wouldn't knock it though as it helped tremendously. It was Kyolic Aged Garlic Extract with Ginger & Enzymes + Black-Walnut Hull Complex.

I can't do Black-Walnut Wormwood , garlic, ginger because it all put me into porphyria due to its all high in sulfur it's a big no no for porphyria it can trigger attacks I just recently learned all of this after experiencing am attack it was really bad and I never want to experience that ever again I thought I was going to die it layede up in bed for 3 days straight. Should have went to the hospital but I didn't. Yes I know it's the bergamot I was researching it already. All early grey tea contains it bergamot some may have more than others though.
