Dr. Ginger Savely wrote a new book called Morgellons. In it she talks about the scratches or black specks that people get who have morgellons.
I know many on this site assume they have strongyloides when they hear about scratches. Not true. She says that the specks and scratches are not related to strongyloides at all. They are morgellons.
Her book covers various treatments like several different Antibiotics that work well and other herbal and parasitic drugs that work well. She has also mentioned at conferences that the treatments for bartonella work well for morgellons. Also if you have morgellons there is a 98% chance you have lyme.

This is a reply to # 2,343,280To know if you have morgellons you should get a small 60x mini microscope -the type they sell for $4 on amazon (it must have a good light) -and check under your fingernails and around the finger tips. Dr. Savely says that is where they are often.

This is a reply to # 2,343,819No Dr. Savely has treated more than 900 morgellons patients and emailed me confirming that many people who think they have strongyloides actually have morgellons. The scratches or black specs are morgellons, as stated in her book.
Many people on curezone are under the wrong impression in thinking they are related to strongyloides. But there is one easy way to know. Get a small jeweler size 60x mini microscope selling for $10 and look at some of your nails. You either have those black wiry or spec things or you do not. If you do it means you have 100% chance of having lyme disease too (they used to say 98%). So if you have morgellons that biting sensation is not parasites. It is the disease; although having lyme and these co infections puts you at higher risk of having parasite problems anyway.
If you think that strongyloides relates to the specs and scratches, find a scientific document that says they are. You will not be successful. It is only on forums that that misinformation exists.
Only 30% of morgellons sufferers get the hard to heal sores. 70% do not have this.
Dr. Savely's book is the first factual book and it is fresh off the press.

This is a reply to # 2,343,825I would like to comment on this subject , first I have some questions . Why does wormers and doxy cure people who thought they had morgellons , why did some of these people I helped get positive results for strongyloides with Elisa from dr . I believe morgellons is a place in Spain like Lyme is a place in Connecticut . We know Lyme is a bacterial infection of a specific species associated with nematodes , what specific species is morgellons or is it a govt experiment as some believe or is it a misdiagnosed nematode infection like I believe . Rat lung worm is very hard to diagnose and is in the strongylida family ,could that be morgellons . Many who have morgellons also have fungi infections , which I clearly documented that many nematodes carry many species of fungi . So please enlighten me as to what the scientific definition (specific name of parasite or parasites ) of morgellons could be .

This is a reply to # 2,343,832Many of the anti parasitics apply to morgellons. Ivermectin is the best antiparasitic for morgellons. The treatments for lyme and coinfections work well too. In particular the treatments for bartonella work better than the lyme treatments.
Dr. Savely says she has placed them in order of most effective to least effective and people should rotate through these. Each can be taken with or without an antihelminthic
Clarithromycin and DS sulfa with or without atovaquone
Doxycycline and rifampin with or without nitrozoxanide
Docycycline and ciprofloxacin with or without tinidazole
She says she gives anthelminthics for longer times than normally recognized by pharmacists and suggests people rotate through them one at a time until they are less effective. So after a couple of weeks move to the next one
She also uses metronidazole too. she has not found the cell wall Antibiotics (I.e., penicilins and cephalosporins) as effective for MD as it is for lyme.
Along with antibitiotics she gives adjunctive treatments like BLt Microbial Balancer by Researched Nutritionals
She also uses herbs that target bartonella as she finds they are helpful for MD
Eg. Sida acuta tincure, hawthorne tincture, houttuynia powder and EGCg green tea extract
She uses 5 different Beyond balance tinctures for those who cannot take Antibiotics : But she usually gives them along with Antibiotics because she has found it is a rare person who does not need both.

This is a reply to # 2,343,837So why don't dogs cats or horses get morgellons . why is Lyme recognized by vets but morgellons is not . Vets do recognize nematodes including the ones that have never been identified by Science . Nematodes are the most abundant animal on this planet but very little is known about them . Only a fraction of nematodes on this planet have been identified , so that leaves the majority of nematodes unidentifiable by Science due to resources and lack of experts in identifying them . Don't get me wrong as I am being inquisitive to the Dr identifying morgellons , but it seems she failed to identify what specific organism it is . So that leaves all options on the table . My Logic says if it dies like a worm with Antibiotics and wormers , leaves fibers , like threadworms do than I will side with my theory that it's an identified nematode in the strongylida family .

This is a reply to # 2,343,839She is not the doctor that identified it. It has been around for decades and is now becoming more widespread. i just checked the chapter on pets. She says, "So far we have heard reports of cats, dogs, and horses with the characteristic lesions and filaments. Since animals are not known to be delusional, this finding should serve as more evidence that MD is not a delusional disorder. ...If your pet is positive for lyme disesase the vet will treat with Antibiotics and hopefully the Antibiotics will help the MD."
I figure the way government has gone to such depths to deny this illness and the filaments are such unusual colors and materials that we are dealing with a mistake here. We know the book and stories about the experiments with lyme and co infections on Plum Island. People have told stories about them trying different bacterias with lyme. Story is they did two together in their experiments. MD is now worldwide.

This is a reply to # 2,343,845So they think morgellons is a bacteria , unknown variety but not positive , is that the just of it . lyme is also treated with ivermectin proving the close relationship with nematodes and bacteria . Dogs cats and horses are normally wormed routinely . Humans are not wormed routinely which puts us at a disadvantage to the worms .

I am sure this is making the pharmaceutical companies very happy.

This is a reply to # 2,343,849Cyprus is a good example of how parasites can spread from third world countries . Cyprus has a high influx of illegals from countries with high parasitic infections , the island is literally a transportation hub to Europe . It's a small world and with the high rate of illegal people from third world countries with high parasitic rates the industrialized nations are not immune from this worldwide event .

This is a reply to # 2,343,853My disease--the symptoms of my disease--began six months after I moved into an immigrant neighborhood. Immigrants from Brazil and India among other endemic areas.
I'm not sure we get this kind of thing from other folks, though. If we do, then any one of us can be contributing to the spread. It's more probably transported in goods/textiles and foods and food products from anywhere in the world.
In my case, I had also vacationed for years on Shelter Island (it's within shouting distance of Plum), but not the year I came down with this.- cause of MD #183825
