I finally got up the nerve to give this a try about a week ago with moxidectin to treat scabies.
All I can say is WOW.
I had pretty much given up hope of clearing up scabies. Had been taking ivermectin orally and permethrin sulphur oils etc topical's for a LONG time and seemed like I had hit a brick wall clearing it all up. Those medications seemed to knock it back a little but never really felt I was making any progress.
A week after moxidectin, I do not think it has been long enough to say that I am cured, but the results make me feel like it might be possible. I have not had a die off event like this since my first ivermectin treatment.
It is a crime that moxidectin is not being prescribed to help people. Guess the pharmaceutical companies do not want a cure since they only make money treating infections, not curing infections.
Thanks Sharkman. Your response on this thread helped point me in a direction that seems to have helped me tremendously.
