It is best to start with ivermectin before hitting them with moxidectin . Moxidectin is used later in treatment after ivermectin has been used for several months . moxidectin even states it should not to be used on sick animals . I did make a small error in what I posted with my dose . There is 20 mg in 1 tube of quest I get 5 doses , which gives me 4 mg per dose not 5 mg . I had those figures backwards and apologize for any confusion . I personally did not take moxidectin until 1 year of ivermectin treatment and my health was almost fully restored . I don't recommend taking moxi as a first choice when and if infected with roundworms . Tweet
