When you do a lot of salt pushing make sure you drink a LOT of water. Otherwise it will only get worse.
I found that site because it was mentioned in a post on a different forum. Otherwise I would never have found it either. The schema is printed out and hanging on a wall to remind me of all the deficiencies I've accumulated through the years. I was way beyond adrenal fatigue.
It does seem like an epidemic doesn't it. Not surprising with the birth control pills, pollution, bad food advise people are getting, etc.
I have a lot of muscle pain as well, sometimes in my back. I think in my case it's got to do with detox as well as simply plain fatigue. When I get tired I get pain.
The whole copper imbalance thing is really hard to deal with. Zinc and B6 both were very low (no test, just my personal diagnosis, think taste tests and symptoms lists). Adding them in makes me dump copper. Horrible. It's getting slowly better though.
I take Digestive Enzymes and stomach acid with every meal to maximize my uptake of nutrients from the foods I eat. I agree with you, without those, it just goes straight through you.
Molybdenum was a great help for me too. It's not really well known, it took a while before I stumbled on a site that mentioned it.
The B6 deficiency cripples my ability to detox.
Getting better for me was like peeling an onion: the most life threatening deficiency was the
Iodine deficiency. Once that was getting resolved, I could see the vitamin D deficiency which was quite bad as well. After being on really high vitamin D for quite some time (I think the vitamin D receptors on my cells are insensitive) I could see yet another problem: the copper imbalance. At the moment I'm putting the zinc (picolinate which needs less stomach acid) powder and p5p (natural form of B6, I don't tolerate the synthetic kind because of my zinc deficiency) powder both in my smoothies. That helps with the nausea (brought on by the copper dump and low stomach acid).
I'm also taking glutathione (not liposomal but on empty stomach which works) and other supplements to deal with the secondary deficiencies like: lysine (cells that have toxic copper stored in them can't maken lysine, take on empty stomach), manganese, magnesium (the stress brought on by the zinc deficiency makes you loose your magnesium), B1 (because of the low energy I've had for decades I turned to easy carbs which make you loose magnesium and B1 and ...), vitamin C, etc etc. Lots of deficiencies.
With every layer I peel I get a bit more healthy and especially calmer, because the copper makes me feel really wired and anxious and paranoid.
Good luck with your journey!
