The
coffee enemas is usually prepared this way: 3 heaping Tbsp of organic coffee in 1
quart of water. Bring to a boil, let it simmer 5 to 10 minutes, then let it cool for 20 minutes covered. At the beginning, I did buy SA Wilsons coffee, specially made for enemas. But it was expensive, so I bought regular organic coffee. If you can afford the SA Wilsons, buy it, it makes a huge difference.
As you probably know,
coffee enemas are not the same as drinking coffee. People who complain of bad effects following
coffee enemas is very likely due to the fact that the enemas produce a release of toxic bile from the liver to the small intestine. They are supposed to help with toxicity, as they increase glutathione by 700% and help the liver filter the blood, but if the bile is reabsorbed, then bad symptoms can occur. I suggest you take 1 Tbsp of activated charcoal 20 minutes before doing the enema for that matter.
I juice fasted for several monthes yes. At the beginning I was drinking copious amount of coconut milk and flaxseeds with my juices, but was not making any good progress. So then I sticked to juices only (along with herbs).
I juiced mostly vegetables, and just one apple a day, and sometimes
Watermelon (great for the kidneys).
Most of my juices were carrot, beet, celery, spinach, red cabbage, cauliflower, tomato, and sprouts (alfalfa, broccoli, mung beans).
The most detoxifying effect was obtained with a juice of few carrots, one beet, an apple, one lemon, and a chunk of ginger. VERY potent. Also, I was drinking 16
ounces at once, when most recommend 8
ounces only. I aimed for at least a gallon of juices a day. When you juice, you shouldn't do it randomly. Choose juices that will help your condition. For liver, my detoxifying juice is very effective. For kidneys, watermelon, celery. For candida and parasites, throw in a clove or two of garlic, and limit fruit juices. Carrot and beet, though very sugary, didn't aggravate my candida, rather the opposite. But apples in too big amounts made it come back like crazy.
When I got a bit better, I slowly reintroduce other foods, but still it was a liquid diet. The juices of course, but some milk and water kefir, undenatured whey protein, coconut oil, and sometimes avocado and banana smoothies with spirulina.
It was a hell of a program, but back then my condition was very alarming and I had probably only a few monthes to live, as I wasn't digesting even the healthiest foods anymore.
If you have other questions, or want a specific juice recipe, I will be pleased to help.
