blueraven,
The pain will be a result of detox, as pains are symptomatic of this including lower back and leg pains. The latter is most likely a result of when toxins enter the bloodstream for elimination and then flowing through restricted arteries within the legs. Arterial plaque of course is not confined to just the arteries surrounding and within the heart-muscle, but also the other arteries within the body as well.
All fasting supervisors will not recommend an unsupervised fast beyond 3 to 5 days so no surprises there, unless of course you are conversant with the process and how to conduct one, that is not to say that fasting is unsafe, but they argue it is even safer that way. Please note that any sudden change in the vital signs are a good enough reason to terminate a fast of any length, and I am referring here to any sudden drop in BP for example; this is rare however.
Blood work is not an essential prerequisite for a water-only-fast, except out of a matter of interest perhaps and in comparison to blood work/tests done after fasting proper is ended. The two important ones here would be a Liver function test and kidney function test.
I am not familiar with a genetic test of ApoEene so perhaps you would like to explain a little more about that?
High cholesterol isn't necessarily a bad thing, despite the Mainstream propaganda to the contrary, and Crestor is a distinctly harmful statin (as are all statins), but please don't take my word for it, please study this site with the
Science to support it.............

If you place your trust in Mainstream Cardiologists, you may find this of interest; before my Mother died in the Summer of 2009, she was under the care of a Mainstream Cardiologist. I wrote to him advising him of additional and complementary nutritional aids in preventing a further myocardial infarction (she had one major attack): one of these supplements was Co-enzymeQ10 or CoQ10, which is essential for heart health and function, and although produced by the body, this production diminishes with the aging process.............he'd never even heard of it !!!!
Of course a sedentary lifestyle doesn't help any muscle within the body and esp' the heart muscle: use it or lose it as they say, but what I meant to say to you was avoid any exercise whilst you are fasting and until your arterial plaque has mostly been absorbed/expelled in Autolysis: your body will need ALL the energy it can muster in cleansing/healing your body. Exercise detracts from that process.
