Diflucan kept me up at night and gave me bad side effects. Dont like RX anti-fungals..too many toxic side effects. Some people with mild candida might be able to get away with them.
Melatonin has worked wonders for helping me to sleep at night and it also seems to calm my gut down.
Try coconut oil and undecenoic acid/candida force .Some articles have indicated that coconut oil is more effective than diflucan.
For the most part. I don't do fruit ( The only fruit I can do is prunes with potassium sorbate added) or starchy veggies. I can get away with some rice, but not a lot. I dont do the detox essentials. I would rather do sodium ascorbate than calcium ascorbate. Calcium supps dont get along with me. Gives me indigestion+more constipation. Havent tried the flora prime yet. I am getting ready to do a series of fecal transplants after doing a series of undecenoic acid enemas/other enemas next week. The trick is trying to keep the colon as clean/exposed as possible. Might have to go on a water fast for 4/5 days. I'm taking a little time off of work and am going to work on restoring my colon.
Prunes in moderation with the potassium sorbate added dont give me any issues in the small intestine. If I eat too many of them they give me gas in the colon. Regular prunes(without potassium sorbate) make me bloated. The potassium sorbate shuts down the fermentation process of the candida. The food grade bulk potassium sorbate you can buy online, but it only seemed to work for about a week or two for me. Potassium sorbate is not recommended all the time because it can also interefere with friendly bacteria metabolism. But for someone who has severe candida/dysbiosis it might help them for a few weeks.

They make me bloated. I have trouble with fructose. Prunes do have fructose in them but the potassium sorbate added to it prevents the candida from fermenting the fructose. So I can get away with some potassium sorbate prunes. Whats interesting is that the potassium sorbate prunes have actually reduced some bloating for me. As long as I don't overdo them they seem to have been helping a lot. It almost seems to trick the candida to a degree. They see the fructose and end up digesting some of the potassium sorbate along with it shutting down its metabolism. Whats also interesting is that the potassium sorbate prunes(in the long run) seem to be more effective than taking the isolated potassium sorbate capsules/powder.
The degree of candida is related to how much good friendly bacteria you have to keep it in check and of course how bad your symptoms are....You can have a good idea of your friendly bacteria levels depending on digestion, sensitivity to foods, how regular you are.
Hope the diflucan helps for longer than a week or so. Have you tried undecenoic acid?
I would definitely stick with a more natural remedy. Those drugs will give you such bad side effects!
