I'd go to 100 mg. The worse your problem, the more pain/discomfort/awareness you will feel and the longer it will take to be "finished." I eventually went to 150 mg and stayed there for months. The pain was gone, but the knots of fibrocysts were very stubborn to dissolve. I was beyond tired of having them in my life, so I put the pressure on and did not let up.
Yes, the fibrocysts did resolve. I stayed on the 150 mg afterwards, first to be really sure, and then because I was so used to it I decided to let it continue doing whatever else was needed that maybe I didn't know about. Finally I have backed off to 50 mg Iodoral and 2 drops SSKI just recently.
I did not have this feeling, but it's not surprising. There's a lot of breast tissue in the the upper outer quadrant towards the underarm, so there'd be work for iodine to do there. For the reading of the ultrasound taken when my breast tissue was at its worst, the radiologist said that that area was of the most concern, and the most likely to develop further trouble. I believe the pulling being felt indicates iodine helping to repair and restructure the tissue, much as when you feel tugging and pulling as skin trauma heals itself.
