karma - don't know, more I don't think so not if you consider all those murderers and serial murderers, they don't suffer this way, in fact they often go onto live long healthy lives even in prison.
I know exactly how I got first infected, it was when I had a small farm and was handling animals, dogs and cats, although I bathed a lot and had good hygiene, it was not enough as I may have not washed my hands just that once after petting my dog who I had previously wormed because he needed this done. So there you are, I think if I had been aware like now of the real risks and hazards, I would have been more on the ball, cleaning my hands after every single encounter.
like yourself I think about the condition of my insides at time but am more worried about the exterior, the one we have to face the world with and can't avoid seeing.
difficult as it is, persevere with these drugs, chop and change until you feel you have the right one or combo or at least one that exerts some control. I know some here have had improvement with strongyloides if not absolute cure, the trick is to lessen the burden and keep it under control for a lifetime is necessary and whilst doing that, your skin will heal it self, scars will improve over several months especially with good nutrition and vitamins.
[These supplements may interest you and I can say have improved my skin and subdermal tissue in the affected areas like my face as well as the whole body benefit.]
*** UltraColl [1000mg] is a Marine derived Collagen I, II, II and VII, which regenerates tissue and skin and I can honestly say it helped to plump out my skin and its elasticity, thickening and increasing tissue strength.
I take 1 caplet a day, you can take 2 if you want. Where my skin and underlying tissue thinned because of of these buggers have migrated through and feeding on it, taking this supplement daily helps to offset the damage that is caused to the skin and subcutanous tissue.
UltraColl [www.pureclinica.com] check it out on their website as this product also strengthens cartiledge, eases stiff joints, muscles and connective tissue and improve immune system.

have you tried DEC yet, it did not give me any severe side effects accept for fatigue and it's cheap to buy and I think, if I remember correctly, treats your infection but not to be mixed with Ivermectin. I took it alone not as a combo.
hope this info helps.
