"and are you sure that it was not just die off"
Trust me Jazzie. I know my die-off symptoms, and I know my flare-up symptoms.
".. sugar causes die off "
Sorry, I have to disagree with this one. Sugar causes flare-ups. Antifungals cause die-off.
"while the honey ... acts like your own anti fungals.."
You're going a little crazy here.
"but then you have the anti fungals at work at the same time.. how can you tell the difference ?"
Don't know what you're asking here.
"..but do not ask it of us.. who are trying to give you information to wonder over.. we do not want to debate with you just give you information"
Do you realize how creepy that sounds?
"You need to do the searching just like we have.. "
That's the problem - we have been doing our research. And it points away from using honey. And so does the majority of personal experience. You can't have it both ways: you say "do the research" and "try it," and then people like me do, and report back that it made things worse, and you say "I'm not here to debate."
"We are on here only to help you."
You know, sometimes when I read this forum, it's very much a downer. People suffering and people depriving themselves of so many pleasurable foods -- it's like a room that needs cheering up. "Wouldn't it be great if I could bring them something, be the bearer of good news." It's very tempting to play that role - bestower good news.
Listen. My dad is a beekeeper. I am now drinking raw honey in water. I am out of food.
Most people need to realize that raw honey is hard to come by. It is in fact solid after a few weeks from extraction. The sugars crystalize and the honey becomes more of a cloudy paste with a grainy texture.
Honey that has been heated will not do this. The properties are changed to this extent.
Some honey is indeed cut with corn syrup.
I am not making an argument. I have no idea if honey feeds candida or not. I am merely pointing out that anyone has kept honey for more than a few weeks and it has stayed liquid, then it was not raw honey.
Raw honey only dissolves in cold water with effort. If you put it in tea/coffee, then it is no longer raw.
I don't want anyone making false claims is all. I don't want people thinking that they have raw honey when they do not.
