Are fiber to be avoided ?
Some say that fiber is bad in this case, others say it feeds bad bacterias and others say it feeds good bacterias.
Fibers are essential. The good flora ferment these fibers to generate acids, peroxides and bacteriocides that kill the bad bacteria and boost the numbers of good bacteria. Soft fibers and gums are best. I gave a list in my previous post.
After the peppermint oil is gone, take GSE or goldenseal 6 drops x3 a day before meals for two weeks.
Read this thread on GSE, it is not that good or safe:

And goldenseal kills the intestinal flora, so it is also best avoided. Long term use can also damage the intestinal lining, lower potassium levels and raise blood pressure. There are many better and safer choices.
Is there a way to solve that problem just through nutrition and maybe herbs ?
Kefir or other cultured foods for a probiotic. Soft fibers such as rice bran, oat bran, gums (xanthan, guar, konjac, etc.) or FOS as prebiotics. Licorice root and yucca root to help benefit the flora, deal with pathogens, boost immunity and to reduce any inflammation.
Hvragerthi,
I read another post where you explain acids produced by good bacteria like acid acetic, lactic acid, fatty acid .
Do you think I could add this in my food through apple cider vinegar , kefir or fermented dairy and oils like olive oil or butter to improve the situation ?
It is true that fiber have been missing in my diet since I take mainly white rice as main source of carbs.
The problem with trying to increase acidity in the intestines with ACV is that the acids will be neutralized by bicarbonate as they leave the stomach. Fermented dairy products or even non-daily fermented foods such as sauerkraut and miso will help with establishing the acid forming Lactobacilus bacteria. For the fatty acids coconut oil would be a better choice since some of its fatty acids are directly antiseptic.
But I had a relapse when eating lots of bread that where actually whole bread so much more fiber than what I usually take ( white rice).....
There are conflicting ideas about fiber, some say it doesn't help .....but I 'll try.
It does help, but there are also different fibers and some can be hard on the intestines like psyllium and wheat bran. This is why I specified certain fibers in my other post.
Also ,ginger have been proposed but since my stomach seem to be a bit fragile now I tried it on empty stomach and it is burning....
Maybe after meal ?
I rarely recommend ginger for the simple reason that it is an antacid, and neutralizing stomach acid is not a good idea:

I see, what about garlic as help ?
This would not be my first choice. Neither my second. There are so many better choices such as the fermented foods, fibers, licorice root and yucca root. Much of the active components of the garlic will be absorbed long before it reaches the majority of the intestines. Think about it this way. When you eat garlic you can smell it on your breath and coming out the pores of the skin. In order to do that it had to be absorbed right away in to the bloodstream. So it is being absorbed long before it has a chance to travel through the intestines to contact the bad bacteria.
