congratulations on your successful flushes wood elf.
the black, red or very dark green stones, or multilayered ones are the ones that have been in the liver for many years or decades.
LOL!!! That has nothing to do with it. The so-called stones are formed in the intestines as a reaction between the olive oil with bile, magnesium hydroxide and sterols. What color these pseudo gallstones will be will depend on what gets trapped in the mixture as they congeal. Just like sapphires come in various colors including blue, green, orange, yellow, pink, red, etc. They are all aluminum oxide, but their different colors come simply from whatever impurities are trapped in the stone.
andreas moritz has documented all of this.
You mean the same Moritz discussed here?:

as your liver becomes cleaner and cleaner you will flush out fresher stones that are comprised of healthier newer bile.
Olive oil does not flush the liver. Oils cause the gallbladder to contract, which IS NOT the liver. If the people promoting these flushes don't know the difference between the gallbladder and the liver are we really supposed to believe their other claims such as stones larger than the bile ducts can pass in to the intestines? Or that you can flush out cups of gallstones even though the gallbladder is not even large enough to hold that many stones. All it requires is a little simple research in to human anatomy and basic chemistry to see that the whole premise of these flushes is bogus, and that the so-called "stones" are being formed in the intestines.
your experience is exactly what most people go through and goes a ways to establish the veracity and efficacy of the flushes.
His experience was more proof that the so-called "stones" did not come from the gallbladder as it is IMPOSSIBLE to pass a real stone over 27mm in diameter through a 8mm maximum opening of a bile duct.
for some people dissolving such large stones with diet would be next to impossible, so the flush is about the best thing around to get these out of the body.
Dissolving real stones that large is not difficult at all. But passing them through a 8mm opening of a bile duct in still IMPOSSIBLE!!!
if you had attempted to take bitters early on with these giant stones blocking bile flow it is likely that you would have become much sicker. this is why many herbalists do not recommend cholagogues for people with gallstones.
Do you understand the concept of how gallstones form and how they are dissolved? If you did then you would know that bitters help to dissolve gallstones. They do not make you sicker. On the other hand if a person does have REAL gallstones then the absolutely worse and dangerous thing they can do is to drink a large amount of any oil. Causing such strong contractions of the gallbladder can cause a REAL gallstone to lodge in the bile ducts leading to other problems such as pancreatitis. If a REAL gallstone does lodge in the bile ducts it requires immediate emergency surgery. Therefore, doing these flushes is a lot like playing Russian roulette!!!
the same goes for people that have done some serious colon cleansing and after some months produce ghastly smelling foul mucoid ropes. it is quite obvious that these have been in the body for many years.
Mucoid plaque is another myth:

I believe in liver stones

Not sure flushes work, but I tried once and got those green "stones". I wouldn't knock it until I tried it. But my main fear is what if I have a huge, hard stone that gets stuck on the way out? It might be better to get an ultrasound to see what's in there first.
Spoken like a true scientist Spud. Now let's go have a beer.
There's so many sites showing stones, I don't think that's an issue. www.ajronline.org/cgi/content/full/179/2/429
I'm wondering what do we do about them if we had an ultra sound that found them in us? How much distress do they cause, and is it worth having them surgically removed?
Or would it be worth investigating this alternative flushing method to surgery?
Spud, did you look at that url in my previous post? There are pictures of hepatic stones, stories, and if you google it you'll find many more. It seems that it's a big deal in the West. And, why not here? One reason could be the doctors here aren't looking for them. Did you dissect the livers looking for stones?
Apparently, it's very common in the East where doctors do all kinds of procedures we don't do here. And, they're saying stones are caused from an infection. So many "facts" to sift through.
This is from the url above.
Intrahepatic stones are reported mainly in Far Eastern Asian populations and are not frequently encountered in the West [12, 14].However, this disease is now being seen more frequently in Western societies, largely as a result of increased immigration from Asian countries [14]. Bile infection seems to play an important role in the pathogenesis of intrahepatic stones; the calculi are usually brown, bilirubin-pigmented, and friable.
Taking the other ingredients of these flushes, is not going to change the fact that large amounts of oil is consumed, and will have the same effect on the gallbladder.
I totally agree.
And it needs to be emphasized again that just people feel better after a flush this does not mean they passed any real gallstones. Just preventing the stagnation of the bile can make people feel better as can the laxative effect of the oil.

Or would it be worth investigating this alternative flushing method to surgery? You are not really going to flush them. But they can be dissolved with things such as ox bile, bitters, lecithin granules and chanca piedra (Phyllanthus niruri).
You're saying these things will dissolve big liver stones and then you will safely pass them?
Are all these, except bitters, OK without a gal bladder?
