In the past 2 weeks, I had so many problems and dealt with anxiety.
I tried many methods to calm my anxiety. My heart was racing all the time.
I notice, after a full meal, usually my blood flows more rapid and heart beating faster.
When I balance with a cracker only for dinner or just a cup of herbal tea, I notice intense calm. I feel weak and hungry, indeed. But I am much more calm, comparing when I eat a meal.
Last week, I had a dimsum breakfast at a Chinese restaurant and although I enjoyed the meal very much (it was superb!). But, after wards, I feel my heart racing, anxiety creeping and I feel so restless. This might be caused by MSG. That experience made me very careful when it comes to food. I really have to choose my food intake wisely.
I am currently interested on eating less and its positive effects towards anxiety. I notice a correlation in my case somehow.
I will also experiment with liquid diets to see the effect on my anxiety.
I remember very well, during my strict fasting and liquid diet back in 2007-2008, I never experience anxiety at all. I was overweight back then, and ended up skinny. When I return to normal eating, plus triggered by personal problems and a traumatic relationship, my first panic attack immediately occurred.
Maybe because all the fasting and restricted eating caused my metabolic rate to slow down, also effecting my heart beat.
Could this be related??
I've heard a lot of good news regarding caloric restrictions. It's good for anti aging, longevity and health overall. It seems to work as well for my anxiety.
Anybody have similar experiences?
It might be slightly uncomfortable to restrict intakes and the hunger pangs can bother, but I will drink warm liquids to deal with that. I really want to get rid of my anxiety for good, with no chemicals.
