I posted something similar to this a few weeks back but decided to explain it better. The issue I have is I'll sleep ok for a while lately 4 to 5 hours it used to be 2 or 3 hours. What wakes me up is I'll wake up super warm not sweating generally but really warm. If wake up cold I can go right back to sleep, but warm it is all over for the night. Anti fungals seem to help but not much. Things I have read says your body cleanes at night while you sleep. So my question is is my body overheating due to extreme cleaning. Will parasites due that or candida or both or are my adrenals either overworked or messed up, or something else all together. If any body has this happen to them or has a answer I would be very interested to know. Also the only candida issues I have is a bad case of oral thrush and the insomnia nothing else. I have had sinus issues all my life(age 47) Also I am on thyroid medication. Have tried to vary that up and down with no luck for longer sleep just on lower dose have trouble getting to sleep. MoreThis is a reply to # 1,467,487My understanding from reading a lot is that the liver heats up the body when it is working hard or under stress. When detoxing, your liver is automatically distressed. I am pretty much over candida, but that used to happen a lot.

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,467,595Sans sucre has posted here for many years and she did quite a lot of things to get better. She cleansed and rebuilt her body for years and adressed problem areas specific to her ( I think she mentioned her teeth recently? ). I think the candida attacks these weak areas for whatever reason. You have to rebuild your body which takes time and years of patience. It's sure no easy task :-(. I'm still a work in progress :-). I used to be bedbound though so I've come a long way.

This is a reply to # 1,467,592Yes, I agree. I think it is liver related. I still get this and I know my poor liver is under great stress. Sometimes it's better, sometimes worse. Just keep trying to baby your liver ( take liver support ) and drink lots of water...and keep things moving along so the liver doesn't have quite so much work to do.

I dont know what you take as far as medication but most of us have similar issues and take Lugol iodine.
WHen your body wants to protect itself from invading critters it raises its temperature, to kill them.
Insomnia on the other hand is generally due to a deficiency. Your metabolism keeps you awake to you will go hunt for them. With candida these are generally due to mineral deficiency - magnesium, copper, calcium, zink manganese...
It can also be due to an antioxydant deficiency. One of the suppl. which helped me a great deal with insomnia is vitamin C... as well as vit B complex in the morning.

This is a reply to # 1,467,884I'm going through this because of menopause - they removed my thyroid with thyroid cancer years ago, so that's not causing it for me. What I've found helps me is to take a 1/2 hour hike straight up the mountain every day.

This is a reply to # 1,468,232And I had an ovary removed in 1972 (in college), so I am short on hormones from that too. What is helping more than anything is hiking up the mountain every day, and supplements from Ideal Health. You take a urine test and they mix up just the supplements you need. If anyone is interested, you can sign up under me. Donald Trump has bought out the company and is going public with it in November. He says we'll all be rich if we go for multi-level marketing. I've taken supplements from lots of companies and these menopause herbs are the first ones to help with the night sweats.
