As someone else stated, fixing one's diet is ultra important. That would be #1.
Having said that, something that has helped immeasurably is alpha lipoic acid. I'd give that a go for a few days, like 200mg twice a day, and see if that helps. If yes, great... and then get busy with understanding your diet and what may be happening there as well. My $0.02.
Well the answer is pretty simple ..i think those of us tend to over complicate the Acne mystery.
Hormone balancing.
Sugar free diet
Flax seed and oil
Fish oil if not vegetarian
Whole food supplement
Sprinkle a lil liver flushing in there
The trick is to keep the insulin levels low
This means NO mass quantities of carbs without protein or fat.
If you ever read about what bodybuilders eat you would understand.
Really I have noticed those of us who get acne...but i can only speak for my own condition. Sugar is really the key here ... even small quantities of sugar results in a flare up for me. I can control it but by no means cured. A cure to me is NEVER to have acne at all.
I can go without having any now ..as long as I follow the DIET
