Day Twenty Seven~A Little Encouragement
I spent three hours in therapy today, I hope to see some positive results.

I got an appointment with the chiropractor for 2:30 in the afternoon. He said he'd make it a long session, it lasted almost three hours. His other 2:30 patients were no-shows, so I was the center of attention. I did a round of diathermy, then ultra-sound, then he was able to do some muscle work in the hopes of freeing up my frozen left knee. He says there is no injury to the knee, except perhaps a little arthritis, all the trouble is coming from the spine. This happened three and a half years ago with my right knee, so I believe him. After the muscle work I got even more ultra-sound, then back in the diathermy room. The pain is still there, but is not as acute as it was this morning and the muscle spasms have stopped. I am wearing my air-traction collar as I type this (good excuse if you see spelling and grammar errors). Then, its another round of supplements, apply the detox footpads and hopefully be in bed around ten. What a life.
I e-mailed the foot pad people and they replied that I can try applying a detox pad to inflamed areas. I think I'll try one on my knee tonight. I can't afford to waste anything, money is really tight after having to buy those new tires Monday. Hopefully the next post will bring better and more positive news.
