My Favorite Companions 18 y
Best Friends Come In All Shapes And Sizes.
Sometimes things get so hard, scary, and painful that its hard to be positive. However, these two usually cheer me up. They are rescue puppies, the owner wanted to kill them, but I could not stand the thought. I brought them home and the rest is history. They are no particular breed, I call them my hillbilly mutts.
One time I was having an especially bad day, and burst out in tears of pain, fear and frustration. I really let it all out and was really wailing. Jake-Bob appeared at my side and started howling too. I couldn’t help but laugh.

When All Else Fails-White Light Visualization/Meditation 18 y
Sometimes things seem so awful that its impossible to think positive thoughts....
This morning was awful. Well, let’s start from yesterday, a quick check of my checking account told me I was about $100.00 poorer than I thought. This is not good when you can’t work. In addition, I need new brakes on my car and simply have no way to pay for them. I had to cancel my therapy session because I’m afraid to drive. The key is to make the image so strong you can feel the sensations. Simply see yourself doing the things I describe, or create your own peaceful place where you can escape.
You are driving down a peaceful highway that runs next to the ocean, you cannot see the beach ... read more

I have written very simple and easy to remember affirmations and put them to simple tunes. I spend several minutes in bed each morning singing these simple songs.
When I first started working with positive affirmations I had a lot of trouble because I did not believe ... read more
