[pretend] MESSAGE FROM GOD
Just a little fantasy about what I think god would say if he was to talk to us all, recruiting for heaven.

I've been silent for quite awhile now because I had hoped you would learn the things I am going to tell you today on your own, but you didn't. I am speaking out now because, frankly, we are having a shortage of new spirits in heaven lately - hardly anyone from the 20thC made it into heaven, and not one from the 21st C.so far, so I decided to say some things to help get you back on track.
Also, there is a large war about to break out and I hope you can avoid it, and of course global warming - I have some facts to tell you that might change your minds.
For one thing, I have been silent for a long time, so those guys like GW Bush and Pat Robertson who said I told them to do this or that were ALL WRONG about me talking to them. For the record, I've never told anyone to go to war over anything, as it would violate a particular commandment about not killing. Isn't that obvious to you? i guess not, sigh....
The soldiers are my biggest sore point - the army has been getting the best of humanity, these are people who are truly ready to serve the side of good and they are being used for evil, and that bugs me a lot. Also, even the poor ones who just joined up to get three meals a day are very much pure of heart, their poverty has helped them remain unspoiled.
To the Soldiers of the armies of the world I thus spake to thou:
NOT ONE soldier in all of history has ever got into heaven - is that news to you people?
Does heaven have so little appeal that nobody thinks about getting in anymore, or maybe you don't believe in it, or don't really know what it is? Is that why people no longer even try to understand that you have to live within some certain guidelines - morality basically - to get into heaven?
Nobody seems to be thinking about how to get to heaven anymore - it used to be such a common topic. Just live good lives and you get into heaven, even a few mistakes don't change that as long as you realise they were wrong and at least regret doing them eventually. Help people, don't hurt people ; Give when you can, and never take so much that others are left without ;
- I don't have to spell it out in detail do I? C'mon, you knew when you were two what was right and what was wrong, I know this for sure because it is an instinct I put into all people. Just remember your childhood sense of right and wrong and you will be in heaven.
And about the wars - they really are messy, and mother earth is not going to clean up after you with this kind of mess - maybe shit but not chemicals and buildings and vehicles.
Global Warming
What an insult! And now you know about it, and still you do nothing!!
Wars can contribute a years worth of global warming in just one week of intense fighting - that invasion of Iraq sped it up by 5 years allready. Global Warming will end civilisation by 2020 - it is really going to snowball after 2010 if emissions are not reduced before then. Nothing will be like it is now by 2020, the heat will empty cities and the weather will have everybody hunkered down inside bunkers, no crops at all. If you fight another global war - World War 3 - there will be an apocalypse from the weather alone within just a few years, maybe by 2010 or 2015, with no chance to turn it around like you have now, sort of... it is going to hit you hard anyways, but reducing emissions now will help make the difference between survival or not.
You thought you had until 2050, but the science of the worst predictions was buried by your leaders, the science that was correct - all the average people saw was the science that predicted the least destructive outcomes.
Some of you figured it out despite the propaganda your leaders showed you. I want you to get into heaven too. The quality of spirit that I favour for heaven that is in the free thinkers is sort of backwards - they "don't do nothing in the face of evil" and even though that is a small step it is in the right direction, and that makes all the difference.
There are, so far, two types of people that I have said I want in heaven - the servers and the free thinkers. They are very different, and they are lacking in some ares - not one of the servers figured out global warming propaganda, and free thinkers won't serve anything at all.... They will both have to learn some things when they get into heaven. But don't take that to mean others are not welcome to try and get into heaven, they just won't likely make the grade unless they use their morality more often. Servers and FreeThinkers both have motivations of morality - do you??
It is true that doing nothing in the face of evil is also very bad, and will mean you are barred from heaven. I love your human quote about evil flourishing when good men doing nothing. So, "do it" [act against evil when you see it] if you want to get into heaven - just thought you should know.
As for the rest of you scumbags - MY scumbags yes but scum nonetheless - need to make every action a moral one from now on. Don't kill, don't steal - you KNOW this stuff allready....But also act against evil when you see it - evil is anything that goes against nature, basically. Adding to global warming when there are options is one thing to think about, even just hang your clothes to dry - it uses the sun and does not add greenhouse gases. How warm does it have to get before you will use the sun to dry clothes? Ok, thats small stuff, but it is the idea of doing the right thing, and that gets you into heaven.
There are some tougher issues, where morality is not certain, but most people never have to deal with them.
This is for your leaders -
Killing is evil, even when you are defending yourself - that idea of invading other nations to defend yourself is wearing thin with me. Killing to defend yourself against evil is okay, but not killing to defend yourself against moral people - in that case you should accept death if you cannot talk it out or subdue the attacker. This will be hard for many to accept, but it is the way it is, so say I. Leaders need to stop behaving as if they are saving an entire nation and just act within their own morality... Don't give the orders that will get you banned from heaven on the basis that you are sacrificing yourself, your entry into heaven, for the good of the nation - act within your own morality, that morality I gave you as instinct.
When you are not sure, ask the people, all of them, in a majority vote - they will allways vote for not going to war, it has allways been that way, in all of history. How different, how much further advanced, your human race would be now if leaders had done what the people they represent want.
Other than that, I don't want to say much more. Like I said at first, it is best when you figure it out for yourselves, and it is much moire rewarding for me that way too!! All I wanted to achieve with this, the first time I have spoken to any humans in the past 1000 years, is to remind you that you know what is moral and what is not, and that there are answers to all the conflicts at the people's level - your leaders [and their leaders] have led the human race down a path that leads to conflict.
I know whats behind their plans, but again, its best I don't tell you. Just don't use your leaders, or "the system", as an excuse to not confront evil. [I am sure some of you FreeThinkers realise the leaders are the most immoral of any humans, often recruited to be leaders for that exact reason]
And, for the soldiers, don't kill and you will be fine, your heart is allready in the right place. I need recruits now, don't let me down. For everyone - just live moral lives and I will see you in heaven, we need you here.
