Sticky stones
Thinking about 'stuck' stones...
Date: 7/21/2005 11:57:07 AM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 2549 times I've read so many posts where people stopped flushing or didn't start, due to fear about a stone getting stuck. The way I look at it, all the stones in our livers already ARE stuck, and have been for a long time. We don't feel them because our bodies are used to them being stuck in their present locations. The tissues where the stones used to be are used to being stretched to accomodate the stone... If a stone 'get stuck' and brings some discomfort on the way out, its still closer to being out at that point, then it was before.
While I do realize how painful newly stuck stones can be and am not making light of it, I've been thinking lately how ironic it is that people call these stones 'stuck.' The ones that 'get stuck' in a bile duct during a cleanse actually have already become 'unstuck' from their prior locations. So we should really be calling them UnStuck Stones, or maybe Sticky Stones since they're on the move but haven't quite made it. No doubt it can be painful to have the Sticky Stone in its new location, pressing into tissues that aren't used to it, but at the same time the tissues around the old location of the stone are healing.
