The Love in your Veins
You are living in a vibrant web of love, both within your body and in the natural world.

Listen to your veins. Can you hear your blood singing?
Listen intently; the song is very soft.
The song you hear your blood sing, is a song of love.
Some deep notes; some high notes; a rich melody in all the colours of the rainbow, like the purest of notes from silver bells.
As each new note is struck the others fade into it, melting into the silence in which the music is structured.
What does your blood love?
Your blood is the water element in your body. It sings its love for the earth element – the calcium in your bones.
It sings its love for the fire element – the electrical current that makes your heart beat.
It sings its love for the air element – your breath.
Your bones, electrical current and breath are also in love with your blood.
Your bones tone a deep, sonorous note of love, like a gong being struck, softly reverberating throughout your body.
The electrical current pulses rhythmically "I love you, I love you" with each heartbeat.
The breath cascades into your lungs, falling over itself in its eagerness to get inside. In each moment there are a thousand tiny explosions within the air, each accompanied by a brilliant white spark, as the air molecules burst with your body’s joy at being alive.
As within, so without. These four elements within your body are forever in love with one another, and this extends to the natural world around you.
Imagine yourself on a cliff top overlooking a beach. The place where you are standing is very special – a powerful focus for telluric energy, the energy of nature.
This energy streams up through your feet and legs, out through the top of your head and shoots off towards the stars.
As the energy courses through you, a huge Third Eye opens in your forehead. You look out through this Third Eye at the horizon in front of you.
You scan the horizon from West to East and back again. All you can see is a huge reservoir of peace. Your vision is filled with the primeval beauty of the Earth in her youth when she was the Garden of Eden.
You look down at the little wavelets splashing onto the rocks and sand below you. You sense that they are alive and you can hear each one asking permission to land.
You can feel the infinite tenderness with which Father Ocean holds Mother Earth in his embrace. And so he has done since the world began.
You look back up to the horizon. A single large rain cloud has appeared in the blue sky above.
As you watch, it starts to rain, and the sun's rays light up the scene with a brilliant double rainbow.
You sense how the sun – the fire element – adores the ocean – the water element. You understand that this rainbow is the sun’s gift of grace to the ocean. And so it has been since the dawn of creation.
You realise that you are living in a vibrant web of love, both within your body and in the natural world. As you witness the love of the elements for one another, you also feel part of this love: you feel it in your bones.
With this expanded awareness, you realise that for every drop of war upon the Earth there is a vast ocean of peace. That war is limited in its geographical reach, but peace is immeasurable. And so it has been from time immemorial.
You resolve to convey to your friends this vision of immeasurable peace whenever you see them perturbed by news of war. You have seen peace with your own eyes and you can share it with them from your soul.
Your ears are attuned to the timeless song of love; your Third Eye is attuned to the unbounded nature of peace. You are truly blessed; please share your blessing.
