She is 6 foot tall, funny, IQ in the stratsophere, lite brown-blonde hair, blue-green-gold eyes, beautiful of face, slender of body and going through a difficult stage. HAHAHAHAHA-There have been a couple since I gave birth to her. All in all not many.
She is flying in from the San Francisco area-Palo Alto, where she works for a well known GUI interface, graphics chip manufacturer. I believe she is important, I know she runs a program for the company's new talent. She meets the best young engineers in engineering programs at Carnegie Mellon, Cal Tech, Mc Gill, and more.
She is blowing through town for a wedding of her best college Buddy Jen. Jen was a station manager, DJ, and music programmer at a very high profile radio station in San Diego.
Both J and J are engaged to Matt's. Both are due to be married this year. Jen, this next week, my J in the next 5 months-but that's another story altogether. I am hoping my J will actually take the plunge this time!
I will be picking up J at the airport and we will be going to very nice restaurant in Little Italy...where we will have an hour or two to discuss life's twists and turns-and I will - be put on the hot seat. And this is the challenge, to see love where there is judgement. And there is both and they do exist together. I am holding the space for an absolute love fest. I am holding the space.
After the wedding, J will fly back to her super power life among the best and the brightest, a life she considers normal. (I think I will try to get her to the swimming hole and see if I can't get her into the Cold Water for some "shock therapy"! What Fun that would be!)
I am thinking that just a few years back I would have put my life at risk and not even considered the consequences for This "Most Beloved One". Without a thought. I wonder if that magnitude of motherhood is still present? Lately it does not feel so. Probably part of letting go, and her claiming her own power. It occurs to me that I miss her as a child.
Last month when I was up in SFO she dropped the hint there may be a child on the way, so I will want to know more about that at our dinner. How I would love the pleasure of a grandbaby from This One. We shall see........
So many questions! So many Hopes. So much Love.
