"Course the Chi, Move the Blood". In a nutshell this is what Chinese
medicine, and many other systems of healing/wellness, is a about.
Oftentimes when energy flows where it hasn't freely done so in the past
(stagnation), there will be some "purification". The chances are you
have had some kind of "cold or dampness" (see Traditional Chinese
Medicine) in your system and now that you are practicing Kundalini Yoga
you are becoming acutely aware of it and it is moving (a god thing).
Dizziness often is a pretty good indicator that your head and heart are
re-integrating (another good thing). It is very important to relax at
this time.....and I mean REALLY RELAX! Also, very good to do "One Minute
Breath" (20-20-20) after you have done your yoga and chanting, or
whatever you do. This breath allow you the opportunity to actively
integrate the results of your practice before you run off to work. Let
your mind fully follow the flow and subtle movement of your breath
energy. Surrender to this. Close off the visual sense and use your other
four senses much more so.
When practicing any of the Bhandas let the pull come from the inside. It
should feel relaxed and part of the flow, and not something rigid,
imposed upon yourself from the head and all serious. Be your Body.
