Power Walking for NYC Marathon with Gary Null
misc. update

I got a real lesson in not giving up and not getting discouraged. I took the train in from Long Island and didn't know the ride would be so round about from Penn Station to the Park. I thought I was going to late and miss the walking/running club. Anyway, my sister said to me I give up too easily. I just hate it when things don't come together. I felt the discouragement rising up within me as we were walking to the park. I said to my sister that I hate that I have to cross every t and dot every i and double check every fricking (I really wanted to say the eff word!) thing,etc.etc. Imagine how I felt when I saw the whole group there still. I was a bit nervous but I was there and wasn't late. The power walking coach John Q. is a dynamic, motivational personal trainer and I enjoyed the power walking which was five miles around by the Jackie Onassis reservoir and most all around the park. We then walked across the park to Uptown Whole Foods which is Gary Null's place. At first I was a bit concerned about spending extra money on the smoothies and food but health is wealth and I smashed the self doubt. I felt so energized and i really could have used my ipod to listen to my special songs to really put me into a meditative state.
Now I am home throwing out papers and listening to health shows. I uploaded some more of my meditation CDs to my ipod. My period has been good so far. I had a nice tubsoak and am going to get my hair washed tomorrow. I'm past getting my hair colored and I also put a straightener in my hair to smooth out the summer frizz. I really want to see how my hair grows with the raw food diet. When I was young I had long, gorgeous and bouncy hair. After I cut it off in haste from personal self hatred, it's been growing back in a different way.
More on that later, but tomorrow is an all raw vegan day.
