Perfect pap smear and four pea sized fibroids...very slow growing according to my gyno. I left vindicated for taking my supplements and working out instead of drugs. I know that the reason why I still have them is because of STRESS at home. Women store a lot of stress in their bellies which is the source of their womanhood. visit the page

update on exam
My pap came back negative. However, I have a small fibroid on the back of my uterus according to my gyno. I’m thinking of calling him but he’s busy. I wish he and the nurse didn’t allow me to leave so fast. I was stunned when I was told I had a fibroid. Something happened between July 2006 and now. Anyway, I will go back in November after I’ve enacted some of my plans to shrink the fibroid. I get a free physical for my birthday with blood labs.

Flaxseed Supplementation: An Integral Aspect of Vibrant Health
by James Meschino, DC, MS
Ground flaxseed, ingested daily, is one of the most ”multipurpose” natural agents that may reduce the risk of many degenerative diseases and help optimize health and well-being for adult men and women.
Flaxseeds are an extremely rich source of a mammalian lignan precursor known as secoisolariciresinol diglycoside (SLD), which provides the body with the raw material from which the bacteria in the large bowel produce two powerful phytoestrogens. In fact, flaxseeds contain 800 times more SLD and re ... read more

Dealing With Doctors During Your Vegan Pregnancy
by Erin Pavlina
How it all began…
When I became pregnant in June, 1999, I couldn’t be happier. A year earlier I had suffered an early miscarriage and it took us almost a year to get pregnant again. The life inside me was the most precious thing and I wanted to be sure I made a healthy environment for it. No problem; I was a vegan so I knew I was giving my baby the best possible start in life.

Gynecological Exam
When Gene Autry sang ”Back in the Saddle Again,” he seemed like a real happy guy. So happy that you’’’’re sure he never rested his bum on a gynecological exam table. If he’’’’d put his feet in those stirrups, you know he’’’’d be singing a different tune.
Yeah, the annual trip to the gynecologist isn’’’’t one we tend to praise in song. Instead, mere mention of the words ”pelvic exam” is enough to elicit moans of dread from most women. Some of us put off scheduling the event indefinitely. Others manage to ... read more

PROTECT YOUR WOMB!
By Nancy Campbell
Let’s see what God says about our womb in His wonderful Word, which is called the ”Wisdom of God.” (Luke 11:49) I like that name, don’t you? We can find God’s wisdom relating to every matter in His Word, even in such feminine matters as the womb and breasts.
1. IT IS OUR DISTINGUISHING IDENTITY.

I’m not a mom yet so I can only be a lactivist and pro-breast feeder in spirit. However, breast is best despite what this processed, packed infant formula society says! This does not mean a mother is a bad person if she has to bottle feed because of illness. I’ve been in forums where bottlefeeding moms can get very defensive and there’s no need to be, esp. if they’re sick. OTOH, there are moms who have to work because of unfortunate circumstances, etc. and that’s Ok too. My quarrel is with women who don’t breastfeed because it’s an inconvenience, it’s old fashioned, etc.
