Oxypowder Colon Cleanse, Day 4
Halfway through the cleanse
Date: 2/25/2005 8:55:51 PM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 3474 times Day 4 was rough. I woke up groggy (partially because I only slept 6hrs and seriously interrupted my body rhythm). I was extremely dehydrated. I found this insane because I was literally drinking water until a half hour before bed. I drank over a gallon of purified water yesterday alone (I have a gallon jug, I'm positive I did). Being so dehydrated (cotton-mouth similar to a hangover), I didn't have the urge to eliminate at all for about an hour after I woke up. By that time, I was at work and had already hydrated myself with 35oz of water. My next elimination was around 7:30, then another at 8:30, 9:30, and 10:30. The first elimination seemed substantial, but the I couldn't help thinking that the next three were superficial. The stools weren't really watery, they were basically clear with small traces of stool in them. It was frustrating to go through the discomfort and seemingly get no toxins out. The eliminations were not terribly comfortable, either. I felt a lot like the morning after a liver flush--I had to stay close to a restroom and felt nauseous most of the morning.
I didn't eat anything this morning, but had some fiber (a salad and some fresh orange) for lunch. I had a fairly large dinner, and ate nothing else all day. I don't feel hungry, although I want to eat anyway (pretty typical for me).
I'm guessing that all of this was caused by over-dosing on the oxypowder. So, I'm going to scale back the dose to 8 capsules tonight and see how things move tomorrow. I'm exhausted from a long week, so I'm going to get 8-9 hours of sleep tonight, which should give the oxypowder a chance to do its job and my liver a chance to clean up my blood a little.
It's been two weeks since my last (third) liver flush and I had planned on doing another one tomorrow, but I think I'll wait another week instead. This seems a good idea to me for a couple of reasons: The lower half o my body is pretty angry at me right now because of Day 4 of the colon cleanse, I didn't get many stones last time (maybe 2 dozen small ones), and it will give me time to schedule a colonic. I've never done a colonic after any of my liver flushes, and apparently they should be mandatory. The place I went to last time charged me $75, ugh. I figure I'll get my money's worth this time since I'll get all the stones out and some loosened matter from the colon cleanse.
I'm starting to feel like I'm turning the corner finally.
