Yesterday was a busy day and came home too late and too tired to write in here. I guess I've been doing okay on raw. I've become a bit obsessed with the scale lately which is no good because for the past two days I've gained .5 lbs. which equals 1 lb. per 2 days. I HAVE cheated a bit though. Yesterday I had a couple bites of peach pie crusts. I have no idea why people put any fillings inside pies when everyone knows the crust is the best part!!! I also had some beef mussamun which was like a little bit of heaven! I accidentally chewed on beef and it tasted so good before I realized it was BEEF and then I spit it out. But the potatoes were sooooo tender it tasted like butter. I prolly had a small cup of mussamun curry. It wasn't a lot but I've been eating lots of hummus and nuts lately and I think that's what is making me gain weight.
People say that on raw they are energetic and don't have to sleep more than four hours. I'm still waiting for that! Every morning is still a pain in the ass because it's so hard for me to get up. But then agin I've been having a hectic schedule and weird eating and sleeping hours.
For example yesterday I got up early and went to the gym (30 mins. bike, 15 mins. elliptical, weights on legs) and then went to the restaurant until 4pm. Took a nap at home until 8 pm. and went back to work until 1pm. and didn't go to bed until 2.
By the way! We FINALLY passed health and we're set to open the restaurant on Monday!
I am nervous b/c my psoriasis is still out of control, I'm worried about my foot, and I still look like a fat blob. Bad first impression huh? And to think I had 3 months to lose the weight and look good. ::sighs::
