You can also wait for popular mattress sale dates such as President's Day, Memorial Day, the 4th of July and Labor Day.

Check the Return Policy

Whether you buy your mattress in person or online, make sure you check the warranty and return policy. Returning a mattress is the last thing you want to do, so make sure you understand all the technicalities involved. If you're conveniently buying your mattress online, make sure there's a trial period. You want enough time to decide if you really like your new mattress or when to return it if it doesn't meet your expectations.
