Day 9
day 9 and counting...tick-tock..
Date: 3/13/2014 5:46:24 PM ( 10 y ) ... viewed 1045 times I can't believe I have gone 9 days without eating...I would not have believed it possible of myself considering my lifestyle! I do believe my kind of fast, is easier than other fasts...like the water fast?! that has to be soooo hard - kuddos to those that actually stick to it..amazing, really. so maybe that's why is not as hard?? dunno. but i do know one thing - in the past, i have not ever stuck to any type of fast regardless of my intentions until now. Thank you Lord Jesus! i feel you walking beside me....
Believe it or not - I am not starving as I thought I would at this point of the fast. I am HUNGRY,,,but not HANGRY!
I even don't miss drinking my usual glass (ES) of wine either.I am surprised at that as well. I am happy that bad consumption has not been had by me in the past 9 days....that's a lot for a girl like me -
so glad to give my body a rest from all the bad food, alcohol...to get my body moving in the right direction makes it all seem so worth it.
I am dreading tomorrow...it will be our very first lunch outing as a team & co-workers were all joking around all day today about fasting tonight so they can eat at the buffet tomorrow.....just dreading the look on their faces! wish i could just call in, but i have to take an on-line test tomorrow & my boss is my proctor!!! OH BoY!
Hey, I weighed myself this morning and I gained 2 LBS - must have been the two bowls of broth I had for dinner yesterday!! I knew i shouldn't have overdone it!...but I just couldn't help myself! LOL! felt nostalgic....so had to say it!
i know it's due to water retention - kind of cool that I can now know the difference between water retention weight gain VS. weight gain due to a binge.
Add that to the perks of fasting!
Nite, nite.....now to day 10!!
