Date: 3/4/2014 11:09:00 PM ( 10 y ) ... viewed 1020 times Ugh!!! second post& second time I erase everything that has taken me a long time to write...and BAMM! I go & erase it all. There is something to be said regarding the use of a new lap top that is not your own. (as two of my little critters pipe up)...so I KNOW this is not my laptop...yes, I asked if I could borrow it....NO, I did not steal it (LOL)
I AM very much aware of the fact that it belongs to my 10- (11 just turned)year-old..who also has an ipad and the cutest camera. I have none of the 3 items above LOL!! and yet I am the one that works & is borrowing (for the second time) an ipad and a lap top now I wished I had...a lap top would stop erasing all my babble. Oh Well, I guess it was meant to be - I digress.
So I have been full of anticipation for tomorrow's beginning of lent. New beginnings. For me, a promise to kick some negativity butt!!!
I am excited yet nervous of failing - I am aware if I let that little bit of thinking creep in, I may be sabotaging & predicting an end result that even refuse to write.
I intend of following no plan - no specific written by someone else rules - just what I feel is good for me and what I must do to get to my 40 day journey. Just abstaining from what I KNOW is not what God intended for me (a life of disconnect and addictions) This will not be aj ourney for me that ends with Easter, but that at the end of the 40 day journey - I pray it to be the beginning of a true and connected life-time with God & spirituality.
I am feeling joyful & hopeful!
But now... I plan.
I will attend service at church tomorrow. Debating whether I should attend mass with the girls at 7pm...but since they are taking ISATS this week in school....don't want to keep them specially sincee we took them out for a late dinner.
Taking them out was a last minute decision, and so glad for it. It was such a nice time...we all talked & laughed!! I didn't have to referee any fights - lovely!
I had intended to just eat the big bowl of oatmeal, two sm apples...but going out for Mexican the day before lent just called to me...not to mention the lovely margarita I had with the meal. Yummy!
----Tomorrow will tell a story...and every day at a time.
