Minus 2 years - Lies 4 Money

Unless specifically told to do so, I neither answer the phone, go get mail or open the front shutters in my office.
From day one living here we've had 2 crank calls per week. Innocuous for the most part. No threats.
Nothing we could ask anybody to do something about, yes, we have an unlisted number.
So I'm told to go out and get the mail, I'm cutting directly across the street.
A child, a young girl is going past the mailbox.
Even at our closest we're about 30 feet apart.
She starts running. I continue to the mailbox.
No biggie, right?
The camera they've had on our house for years is at the diagonal several houses down.
Like the camera in the security car what you see is what they tell you.
In this case you'll see me walking across the street and disappearing.
Then you would see the child running away from where I was headed.
What conclusions could you make?
Arriving from work the next day, I reach for the remote to open our communities gate.
Only to find a black & white unit blocking the gate, the gate opens.
One of what we've come to call the kid's power cars has boxed me from behind.
They're attempting to drive all 3 of us down my street to show they have control.
I cut out of the 3 car train at the first turn and proceed to go the back way.
As I park at my house the officer (obviously po'ed his plan didn't work) is already stalking towards a neighbors house.
There is no sign of the 3rd car.
Snicker.
Within 1 minute of getting in the house we get a call stating that there had been an attempted child abduction in the neighborhood.
1 Minute after that was the last (well almost) crank call we'll receive for the next 2 years.
The following week we get 2 calls to donate to the sheriff's fund.
What a sense of humor they have.
Over the years I've gone to my car and had both the girl and her brother run away.
Because, that's what they've been told to do.
Their father is the twit who did a Mexican standoff one time years ago.
He was also the one when his son was 3 or 4 had him pick up stones from around one of my trees and fling them at my car several times. Till my neighbor saw him and told him to stop.
He was also the one who moved his family out, then back in several months later.
Oh, I haven't done anything, he's simply been terrorized by the police selling security services.
He's also now suing the association for not taking enough action.
Gee, I wonder who gave him that idea? Buy more security!
So after that my wife and I can't go anywhere without security showing up.
You would be amazed how many contracts they got, telling the owners that I might grab someone and wouldn't it look bad if they didn't do the right thing and hire security, police owned of course.
So now if I get close to a mall with police run security, the security cars drive around the parking lot with their lights flashing. (Thanks HS)
If no one shows up, they go out and sell.

What about the calls? Think they gave themselves permission to tap the phone and internet lines?
It would look bad making crank calls.

Oh no, the day before Halloween I got a paper, no Halloween for us.
(a lot of the lawsuits will my wife suing them for violating HER rights)

Oh no, they contacted family members and told them I had attempted to abduct a child.
Say wait a minute!
Where the hell are my rights?
Oh wait, I'm a bad guy, we no longer have rights.
We're the new N's on the block!
I have illegal trackers in my cars.
They put up local receivers near work and on the other side of the complex.
So if I get close and am attempting to avoid the cameras a warning will go out.
We actually forced the town I work in to do this and put up new cameras.
Which was kind of funny as it's a commercial area.
They estimate over 20 million has been spent on me alone.
What we've been waiting on was for them to go back to our families.
They recently did, so it's time now to cut their throats.
I am so sick of doing video logs everyday.
Over the years I've written concept scripts for the TV shows "Criminal Minds" and "24".
Why "24"? Homeland Security is involved, so I must be a terrorist!
Coming up with ways of killing thousands of people or creating horrific events is rather cathartic.
Especially if the horrific event is instructional for society.
I may describe several of their acts of terrorism, then what my response could have been.
I'm sure some of the people involved, after reading them would become violently ill.
I'm afraid a copy cat or any other "bad guy" might say "Hey, that makes a great statement and people will be terrified to go around screwing with people".
But, that isn't really my concern, after all, it's fiction.
Ya know, I screwed up, but, its been 3 decades.
Jeeze, give it a rest.
