Red eyes, I look like someone
from another world...
Date: 2/14/2010 6:27:03 PM ( 14 y ) ... viewed 1531 times It's been a weird day so far. Pulsing on at the moment at 100 mgs iodine for the day. My eyes look otherworldly as though I could act on one of those vampire series and not need special contact lenses. Red and this odd sort of glassy. Makes my grey green eyes look pretty strange (they get greyer and greener the more I do this...the last little flecks of gold are diminishing).
I worked out, yay. Came home and ate breakfast, took some supps (iodine's companion supps, vites that help the adrenal cascade) and then promptly took a half hour nap. Truth be told, I could go lie down right now and sleep for hours. See, this is what scares me about quitting coffee. That I won't be able to function. Honestly, I don't know if it's caffeine withdrawal (I went from being a java nut with 3 cups in the morning to having 1 cup that is half the size of the cup I used before) or if I am having some Herx thing, or what. Just so damned tired.
Weight is up another 2.5 lbs. I've eaten the same calorie level as before and I continue to gain. I just want to feel comfortable in my skin, have energy, be the old slender me. Seems like since my Dad died, my metabolism has changed although my food habits have not.
I would like to keep this blog as positive as possible, so excuse me if it isn't so much today. Guess I also have to keep it real.
Anyway, tomorrow is another day and all sorts of good can happen.
