Food Smells

Today's test.

When walking out of my apartment I was hit with the intense heavenly smell of fried chicken. I smiled. It was nice not triggering. I am not sure how I would react if the food was in front of my face but smells seem to almost be a comfort.

Walking down the hallway smells melded and their was a surprise of teriyaki chicken, and a faint scent of cardamom. Again the smells did not make me go running for food. Instead it made me ridiculously silly. Happy. The way grapefruit essential oil makes me.

It is a nice to know that I understand the difference between a need and want. The food will still be there if I want it after the fast. :-P
