I did not nap yesterday afternoon and sleeping at night was still difficult. But I think I slept enough because I do not feel tired. I naturally woke up around 4ish getting ready for work. I feel tired but not exhausted
I feel backed up, no bowel movement. Usually it is not a big deal because I eat before the fast a lot of fruit and veggies. But before this fast I went in meat frenzy and ate lots of eggs doused in texas pete hot sauce. So I have not had a bowel movement for six days. I am one of those people that crap after a few hours of eating. So this does not feel good at all. I think if I actually go for a run my body will naturally expel whatever mass is buildup inside there.
EDIT
Finally had a bowel movement very soon after writing this. It also made my weight drop to 268lbs.
- Napped during lunch hour.
Urine is dark yellow and smells fishy.
I try to replace moments of weakness by pampering myself with sweet smelling lotions, scrubs and baths. It works well, but some might say using these things is not fasting. I never saw a difference from fasting without using bath products verses using. So I think it all boils down to preference. I can imagine some people might be enticed using a sugar scrub. They might want to eat it or just get something to eat. But for me it replaces the time I be eating with extra time on my body.
Search for recipes during my time at work. Every fast always includes a lot of obsession for food. I tend to print or copy whatever recipe that looks good.
