Knee-Jerk Reactions on a Societal Scale
time to unjerk that knee!

Once the slaves were freed, they mimicked how the slaveowners had treated them in trying to put their own kids "in line." Blacks in the U.S. are notorious for using capital punishment on their children.
It's not their fault. It was a knee-jerk reaction to mimic how they themselves had been treated.
Women, before they had rights, were considered to be the possessions the men that wed them. They were like chattel. Once feminism came around, what did the knee jerk to? Being possessive of men, of course, as well as being possessive of material items brought to the marriage by the men.
Another knee-jerk reaction, heightening the infamous "battle of the sexes."
The fact is:
Neither adults nor children of any race should be hit or beaten into submission, whether in the name of ownership or in the ill-begotten name of parental love. What kind of love is that? None that I would care to have any of...!!!
No one OWNS anyone. Not slaves, not spouses, not children. It causes a great FALL in society for people to perceive their loved ones as those whom "belong" to them as in ownership.
Love, real love – Real Love – does not attempt to possess, own or control. Love of All is the Height to which Humanity can and will and does Strive Toward, and Love of All is the Only place where Humanity shall Thrive.
Without "loving" to submission as man to wife (or wife to husband), or as parent to child (or child to parent)
Without beating into submission as slaveowner to slave
Without humiliating, beating or shaming into submission as parent to child, child to parent, slaveowner to slave, man to wife or wife to husband.
Possession. All in the name of SECURITY. Right now the "government" wants some SECURITY because they are afraid of what the masses of people will do to the "upper crusties" who have robbed them, cheated them and lied to them. This is why they want control.
True LOVE needs and asks for NO control. You cannot MAKE someone love you. Love IS. When it is allowed. The best way to suppress love? Control, possession, beatings, etc.
"You belong to me." We have been taught that is ROMANTIC, a sign of LOVE to be jealous and possessive. Poppycock. It is no more than a sign of insecurity and weakness.
P.S. We are not TOTALLY blind however. Blacks have recognized that education is important; however, the school system has been busy DUMBING DOWN students to become mindless consumers who will believe anything someone called an "expert" says and who will tow the party line of those in power.
