Day #10 All Raw Vegan!
Each day I need to remind myself why I am doing this, etc.

It is very hard, if not impossible, to get support from most of the world for eating 100% Raw Beegan/Vegan diet. In fact I often get comments that are downright unsupportive. That's why I know it's important that I stay very conscious and constantly remind myself of all the reasons I DO need to stay all raw and all vegan.
Yesterday I did fast (just a total of about 22 hours) and then at dinnertime I fixed my cucumber-tomato salad and ate just about half of it (which is basically half a cucumber and half a tomato plus the onions and all) and then had a couple tablespoon's worth of the raw cacao bar I made the day before and really never was hungry for anything else after that. So, that was a very good experience with fasting. Maybe I will do these little mini-fasts again and again until I really get the hang of it. ;)
Today I was able to go to the neighbor's house with the most dandelions and picked a "mess of 'em." Got enough to last 3-5 days in fact.
I'm so glad to have made it 10 days now. That is the most I have done all year! Sometimes I worry that the lack of variety in my diet where I am right now will unravel my resolve, but then I remember that I have one HUGE added advantage, which is that the longer I have not eaten cooked, non-vegan, chemicalized, synthetic and otherwise detrimental and addictive foods, the less of and addictive pull I feel for those foods. (Hallelujah!!)
Thank you very much to all of you who prayed for me -- and feel free to keep praying. I can use all the help I can get! ;)
Cheers,
Michele
