Day 4 & 5 - 139lbs (23lbs to go)
Will the weekend affect the success so far?

I am pretty amazed at myself of how disciplined I have been in this fast. The weird thing is I am daydreaming of eating foods like steamed broccoli and cauliflower - what?!! If I can keep that going than I will go far healthwise! I haven't been tempted by walking past people eating. Or when I have gone to the supermarket to pick up fruits to juice, I have ignored things in the bakery aisle, or any aisle for that matter.
I know this weekend would be tough so I am happy if I stay on 9st 13lbs - which I seem to have achieved, so am glad.
On Saturday (Day 4) - I had a juice with about 8 apples and some lemon slices. Wasn't bad - my first non-orange juice. Had my usual hot water and lemon juice for breakfast. I started to 'break the fast' a little and added in smoothies and soup for dinner. I weighed myself and was 9st 13.3lbs - higher for the first time which kind of demotivated me a little (was 9st 13.0lbs in the morning weighin). HOWEVER, what made me feel much better was I tried a red outfit on and it fit (whiich it didnt just a few weeks ago!). That felt good, and I looked good too. So, when you feel like the weight has stuck for a while in this fast or feeling like giving up, try on an old dress and you will see that it is worth doing and give you that extra boost!
Which was slightly tough as my family were having the best fish and chips ever!! Also, they didn't stop there, they got ice cream and fudge cake! Which is a pretty good test for me as I didn't give in. Not to the point that I had to control myself, but I was okay not having it. Pretty amazed at how I'm doing...
On Sunday (Day 5) I started the day off with hot water, lemon and honey. Then had pineapple juice with a bit of pear - it's a shame it makes such a small amount of juice as it is quite lovely. We were invited to lunch which always include rich indian curries. So, I tried to eat as healthy as I could, but there was limited option in that department! This would be the first solid food I would be having in five days, and I have to say that breaking the fast properly is VERY important, as even as I was eating the solid, I felt something heavy in my chest which did not feel right at all.
Felt really bad afterwards for eating solids but then I knew this was going to happen so I finished the day off with a smoothie. Was glad that I weighed in at 9st 13.4lbs, which is still a loss from Friday's weight. I shall continue on a juice fast this week. This is going well for which I am grateful. Roll on Day 6...
