Post Day 1 Results: Looks like it's going to need some building up to

Day 1 results exceeded goal but I am still not happy

So it was obvious that the goals I had set were extreme. So while I attempted to achieve everything I had scheduled I couldn't do it. I found that life kept getting in the way and eating up all the time I had so it was difficult to stick to the program. But today is another day and I will try to achieve more. I have also found that my time schedule is just impractical, so my goal is to accomplish the amounts of exercise listed even if it has to be clumped all together. So long as the calories go I am happy. Another area that is causing a problem is the no carbs. I am relieved to say that eating 500 calories a day may be easier than I thought, BUT the no carbs is not. I live quite a social lifestyle where I am constantly in a position where I must eat out with people. And trying to find meals that have no carbs is a problem for me. So while I will still try to limit my carbs, I have to conceed that so long as I eat approximately 500 calories, I won't beat myself up for eating bread, lol.

CALORIE LOSS:
-(I will only be discussing my actual efforts to exercise more and not the calories lost during activities I have to do ie. getting ready or sleeping):

1) 25 cal loss - walk to the bus stop;
2) 300 cal loss - walk at lunch
3) 375 cal loss - walk home
4) 500 cal loss - treadmill

Total calorie loss 1200 calories. I completely did not reach my goal of approximately 2800 calories of actual exercised off calories. But I am going to try and increase my exercise today.

I found that the time that I needed to spend exercising I had other things to do (ie for work etc.) so life is getting in the way of my exercise time.

CALORIE CONSUMPTION:

Total calories consumed 560 cal - 1.5 c. rice noodle (350), some beef broth (100), 2-3 thin slices of beef (100), bean sprouts (10)

I am not happy that I ate the carbs and I went over 500 calories, but we went to a Vietnamese restaurant and there was nothing but carb there. But today I am going to try and stick to the program.

WEIGHT CHANGE

SW: 168
CW: 166.8

I have to admit that I was disappointed with this result. This despite my goal of losing 1 pound a day. As I mentioned, I managed to do abstain for 1.5 days from food and on my first shot I lost 4 pounds. I know a lot of it was water weight but it was gratifying to see that scale move down. This morning I found myself thinking about trying to water fast again and i'm contemplating trying to do it this weekend.

That's it for now!
