3-Day Juice/Lemonade Fast
I'm back with an update after two years.

I just read back through these old blog postings and can't tell you how far I've come psychologically and emotionally over the last two years. I'm long over Jones and have made some career changes. I must admit however that my negative attitude often curtails some of the work I've done for my positive outlook.
Physically, I still cave into the occasional cigarette after stuffing myself with a good meal, but I drink a lot less and haven't taken any pharmaceutical sleeping pills for almost two years now. However, my diet hasn't been very good this past year and a half. I didn't do ANY cleansing or fasting last year.
Recently, I've taken up Yoga (LOVE IT!) and some meditation/positive thinking stuff. And I bought a real juicer (a cheap centrifugal one, but it beats a cheap blender).
So I'm on Day 2 of a fast, planning to break Saturday morning. This has been a pretty painless fast. Almost ZERO cravings and only a mild headache on Day 1. Perhaps my health hasn't been as bad as I assumed. I've been juicing veggies (mainly tomatoes, carrots, celery, bell peppers, onions, cucumbers, cilantro), fruits (apples, oranges, limes, grapes, watermelon, mango), and herbs (garlic and ginger). I've also made a couple batches of the Master Cleanse formula, which I'll credit with keeping away my hunger pangs and cravings, to drink between juicing. All this of course coupled with herbal lax tea at night and SWF in the morning.
Reading through the CureZone forums has inspired me once again. I'm contemplating a liver flush to break the fast. I blame my failed attempt last time on not preparing well enough for the fast and, still detoxing from sleeping pills, not in good condition to sleep through the night while the formula did its work.
However, I have an appointment Saturday afternoon so not sure if I'll feel like taking the risk the night before. Maybe I could break the fast Saturday night instead of Friday night?
I'm looking forward to blogging here again :-)
