crushing old habits
getting healthy feedback...
Date: 12/25/2007 3:54:00 AM ( 17 y ) ... viewed 2970 times do you have something that you are really excited about? some activity that you know will solve a lot of problems?
this is essential, as most people really doesn't have something to be manical about. & this causes them to generate lots of small not-so-useful habits to comfort themselves (NUH).
there are no mental chatter -- only lots of habits compensating for not finding "the solution".
& when we constrain ourselves from doing NUH's we get greater & greater raw desires -- this is what we must locate & fulfill rationally!
without eliminating NUH's we cannot get the feedback that makes us strong, intelligent/reflective, self-comfident & courageous! (these aren't really separate virtues, but they all relate to eachother & trying to improve 1 at a time doesn't work well -- the right feedback must be present, & the whole personality will change!).
so what are the methods of eliminating your habitual responses to external stimuli, & your external habits?
meditation is a simple way of saying it. it is the most fundamental activity where all other methods will spring from the depths of your sub-conscious/soul.
by successful meditation you truly realize that all your external actions are caused by your desires, beliefs/theories (including knowledge too (as we can only approximate truth), & especially including your "theory of solution") & thought-habits.
when I say meditation I just mean the most fundamental parts of it:
-go to a level of total relaxation.
-prepare for the activity by getting excited about it (seeing the results of it).
-devote your mind to some activity.
but I whould include closed eyes & lying comfortable for everyone just starting.
just learning what total relaxation means will eliminate lots of NUH's.
meditation should be your zone of comfort at first (especially [doing virtual creative work] / imagiation).
first you should devote your energy to learning the most awesome skill in your inner world: control dreaming & make your imagination more detailed.
if you learn to use your sub-conscious genius imagination: you will be a genius!
