You see, it is possible that the ancestors seek healing in ways they couldn’t heal themselves. It is as though they couldn’t complete a task, and left it for the future generations to complete it. It’s inconceivable to imagine in what ways the task was left for future generations, but it is sometimes left, nonetheless.

Fundraiser for Penny Casanova's
family in New Orleans.
The closest I ever came in this life
to participating in a birth was through my
friendship with Penna Casanova.
16 years ago, she was a student at SDSU.
We had this vetegarian polluck each tuesday.
Penny and i became great friends.
She asked me to take photos of the pregnancy
and birth of her daughter Nadine. Nadine was
born in a water tank at the I House. That was a real
education for the students of SDSU who attended this
birth.
Many of the photos were taken in the backyard
here at the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community.

Just got off the phone with Dr. Judith Reno
who is one my oldest friends in this life.
She is coming out with a new book in about six weeks
called ”Elephants in my Tent.”
The book is being proclaimed a masterpiece of
personal growth/spirituality.
From time to time we spend an hour on the phone
doing counseling. She was telling me about the intensity
of these times and this unprecedented year that
had the Tsunami, and five evacuations from Florida
including one scheduled for Saturday.

Just had a dream that completely astounished me.
I cannot say where it came from,
someplace so deep. It was a dream that seemed to have
nothing to do with my waking life on first glance.
Sometimes our dreams do that. We cannot see consciously
something our Spirit or our Soul wants to Tell us,
so our unconscious tells us. Sometimes dreams are

A little ray of hope showed up yesterday.
I sent in a sweet photo of a flower--
that is where it is at--I can’t even remember the name of it--
to the Feng Shui Quarterly.
I am deeply unhappen with the results I received
from all the followup from the Feng Shui Conference.
The FINAL thank you note went out many, many weeks
after poeple had forgotten this event.
About 53 people may have visited the site.
I was offering a CD of photos.
I put up some of the photos and a price.
There were no purchasers.
I feel like a big failure.

The Rain, the all night first rains
of harvest Fall the warmth of bed covers,
warm bed covers. I drift into the most
delicious of dreams, after touching myself,
