Dear gal,
I write in empathy and instruction. In the midst of your storm,it is favourable for a pause; remind of past sucess, reaffirm future goals, re-kindle forgotten guiding flames and re-check problematic ways.
Everything in life is a working progress; your ultimatum will only be revealed when you appear in front of God's council upon your return "home". What pleases me is your genuine desire to learn to be god's child and live a life in which its sublimity surpasses any joys from the flesh and overrides covets of the human heart. You have plunged into dark times these few years but understand this was an anticipated result of circumstance. Life, as you knew it, may have stolen your normalcy when it was young and fresh and you were innocent. Anger is natural. Grief is appropriate. Healing is mandatory. But remember, restoration is possible. In spite of all the obstacles, you remain so enchanting and loved by so many. Keep going, the finish line is not afar. God and I will walk with you.
You came to near God, not because you picked him. On the contrary, he picked you. He meant for you to live in godliness and do great works for him. He gifted you with the power of healing and you have already helped many and many more await you. This overhwleming transition is a test of will, obedience and faith. You must atone for your sins and the sins of your parents, in particular. They are lost, don't accord blame. You failed many times when attempting to fast, more than I would like to remember--but you never threw in the cloth and walk away. This try was the longest and the most gruelling but even though, you have broken the fast because you were not able to tolerate the healing crisis, you witnessed with your own eyes the tiny miracles God was working in you. This is a failure, but a successful failure. Your emotional wounds have healed, mental pressures relieved, spiritual turbulence subdued; your spirit is protected by God's indestructible hand--the pain in the flesh is nothing more but a human experience you cannot run away from.
So pick yourself up. Come on. You can do it.
You have many goals to be a surgeon, healer, globe-trotter, writer....but set your sight to the upward call of God. In him, all things are possible. He has promised you eternity and abundance, not just in heaven, but on earth. Abundance awaits you at the finishing line. Abundance more precious than gold and gems. You have always been a dreamer, so dare to dream bigger--for they will come true.
You were meant for great things. Take hold of this belief with unfaltering resolve. Because beliefs translate into truths upon action. Don't give up now.
