Day 5...staying positive and some statistics
Here are some statistics regarding my journey so far.

I’ve made it to day 5. I continue to amaze myself at my ability to press on with this healing process. I believe the fact that I view it as a healing process is motivation enough to continue my quest towards a healthier body and being a happier person.
I was reading some posts on the Master Cleanse forum yesterday and ran across a thread mentioning how an individual had noticed a difference between the McCormick cayenne pepper and organic cayenne. Her point basically was that the McCormick cayenne paled in comparison to the organic cayenne, which was much hotter. That got me to thinking that perhaps I need to switch to the organic cayenne for better effect, so I did a search on Goggle and I ordered a pound of organic cayenne, 90,000 c.u., at a very good price. It is being sent fedex as I type this. I am hoping the extra strength stuff will really kick things up a couple of notches. The funny thing is, prior to typing up my post for today, I was browsing some other blogs, and Peanut had just posted her blog for the day and she mentioned also about going out and getting some stronger cayenne. Great minds think alike. ;-)
Anyway, here are some day 5 statistics. I have been weighing myself every morning among other things to track the changes in my body. When I began my journey with the colon and parasite cleanse, I was at 227 lbs.
Beginning: 227 lbs.
Beginning Master Cleanse: 219 lbs.
Day 2: 215 lbs.
Day 3: 212 lbs.
Day 4: 210 lbs.
Day 5: 209 lbs.
Needless to say, things are moving along quite nicely and I am still feeling great. So far I have not felt any negative effects since beginning the master cleanse. In fact, since beginning this whole process, the only time I really felt bad was like in day three and four of the parasite cleanse, when I was experiencing the ill effects of the die-off from the parasites. I wish all my fellow cleansers a productive day, and remember, stay positive.
The Power Of Staying Positive
Our thoughts are not simply ethereal pieces of information that enter our minds and then disappear. The words and ideas that we think can shape our lives and drive us toward success and happiness or failure and distress. How you think and feel can have a profound effect on your ability to recognize opportunity, how well you perform, and the outcome of the goals that you've set for yourself. When you maintain an optimistic outlook and make an effort to harbor only positive thoughts, you begin to create the circumstances conducive to you achieving what you desire. You feel in control and few of life's challenges seem truly overwhelming because it is in your nature to expect a positive conclusion. An optimistic mind is also an honest one. Staying positive does not mean that you ignore difficulties or disregard limitations. Instead, it means spending time focusing only on the thoughts that are conducive to your well-being and progress.
Peace and happiness
