I have not heard anything about a controversy about this but I think I know where they are going with it. The peptide oxytocin is one of the compounds generated by the body associated with bonding. I wish you had not had the first C-section, it is not as healthy for the baby. But once one is done then you are kind of stuck with requiring C-sections in the future.  At least make sure you breast deed since this will help counter the health issues presented to the baby from being born through a C-Section. As far as the antibiotics go this is a surgery so you will need something to help prevent a serious infection, especially considering how many pathogens a person is exposed to in hospitals. Your incision direction will be noted in the surgery notes, ask the doctor which way the incision is on the uterus. It may not be the same as the outside. the third method is the worst that is an upsidedown T cut both ways. Remember that rupture happens equally throughout three trimesters. It’s a good sign! He’s hungry! And he obviously enjoys your milk! Babies are only babies for a short time, hold him - you can’t spoil a child with love, just with materials. My girlfriend had all hers breech till she delivered. She had to have them at home unattended to avoid the unecessary cesection they tried to push on her. All the babies turned while she was in labor. One stuck a foot out, pulled it back in, then a hand out and pulled it back in and then came out head first. No birth injuries. the best way to avoid a csection is not to go to the hospital. I had five hospital births 6 uc 2 csection I am a strong advocate for UBAC mostly because of the political climate being anti vbac. UC meaning unassisted by medical personel and Ubac being unassisted vaginal delivery after cesection. The last thing you want to be is uninformed of choices ahead of time. One of the primary reasons for c-section is because of the failure for the pregnancy to advance (dystocia). Some things to remember as your contractions start: 1) the sooner that you go to the hospital after you go into labour, the more time they have to ”play”.
